I suppose you'll be advocating an online board next

No I won’t. Of course not but in modern times every organisation has a voting system that’s online - the venue would not accommodate all members so that’s undemocratic in itself - I would agree elected representatives need to attend but all democratic organisations allow all members a voting opportunity or it’s a closed shop

The problem is it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy - wasps fans will now believe we are the odd mad extremists and all other supporters are of the opinion the council and wasps have nothing to answer for

Really it’s a Saturday afternoon so most people should be able to go

Most wouldn't even know about it. I think it's easy to forget what a little community SBT is and assume it represents the wider support.

Two other groups were also aware

To be fair a lot of people expressed interest to PSB but it's easy to express interest on social media. Different thing to actually turn up though it was short notice in fairness

tbh this almost makes it worse. When it was just on here, ten would have been an achievement(!) Last night I allowed myself a spot of optimism, when I read 90-odd had committed elsewhere.

Should have known better!

I get people all have lives and other more important things to deal with, and that notice was maybe a little late, but how come we have such an apathetic fan base?

Is it apathy or fatigue, or both? There have been many well attended protests over the years. Was it 6000 who marched into town, and a similar amount a year later? I was at the Charlton away march in decent numbers. The Rochdale protest was very well attended. We've had pigs x 2, sit-ins, pitch invasions home and away, that really impressive display at Arsenal on TV. I stood on the hill at Northampton, all that stuff, and where has it got us? We've had years and years of it and we get nowhere. I feel a bit guilty about not going today but it's just exhausting. Not an excuse, but I do understand it.
