I’ll tell you this, Wasps have gone down in my estimation, and I’d love it, love it if we beat them! (K.Keegan)

Let's use a siege mentality and get promoted we are coventry city we will never lose!! Northampton or Birmingham we will fight until the game is won. Mark Robins deserves our support he said it as it is it's an utter disgrace this situation. I would love to see us build our own stadium back in Coventry would you forgive sisu if they did?

I’ll be following them further than down the road with away games only. Sorry if I’m not 100%.
"While WE sing TOGETHER, we will NEVER lose ".... that is the REAL Jimmy Hill Way. WE means all of us, not just some of us. Either support the team as Jimmy wanted us to and go to St.Andrews or not.

For f**is sake, if Brighton fans followed their team to Gilligham then surely Sky Blues supporters can stop having a hissy fit and follow the team 20 minutes down the road ? I seriously question if fans claiming they won't go to St. Andrew's on principle then I question if they are 100% supporters.
FFS, not this kind of divisive claptrap!

Still, it's from a different perspective to last time!

I understand that you wish to "support Pressley and the Lads" and that going to Sixfields was a difficult decision for you, but left me ask you this :-

What "loyalty" does a CCFC player have towards the team ? You know, as well as I do, that come a better offer they would be off like a shot !

A club is much more than it's team of players -- players come and go all the time don't they ?

So, as much as it breaks my heart as well not to go and watch CCFC play, my philosophy is one of "short term pain for long term gain" and I am not prepared to contribute a single penny to SISU and players who would not return my loyalty - players will always put themselves first - human nature.

Please re-think before you go again ?

Still, if we're talking percentage of supporters...

I want Sky Blues to play at the Ricoh-- end of ! I hope we stuff SISU, take over Nuneaton Boro and re-name them Coventry Sky Blues.

I'm angry, very angry and if this is the only way to rid this cancer -- bring it on !

Sadly, I agree. The only way to get rid of SISU now is COMPETITION. I posted on another thread that protests are not working and will probably tail off. My ideal would be for Haskell to buy the Ricoh and fund a Pheonix club playing there. If anyone knows a better way let them share it ? SISU will fund Sixfields even if no supporters turn up !

Sorry but it doesn't make sense to build a new ground when your 3/4 years into a fight over one already built , what happens if E/C rule in favor of Sisu a couple of years down the line and Wasps go bust, Once you start building a ground you can not stop half why through , Just doesn't make commercial sense. If all legals had stopped fair enough, but not while your in the middle of the fight.

That’s a council problem then. If the EC rule in favour of SISU - couldn’t they throw the costs of a new stadium into any civil claim?

Be interesting to see how this pans out. The Facebook and Twitter mob will implode. Probably see some "He's a SISU puppet" posts later. At least they'll refuse to travel 20 miles to hold up any Robins out banners.
i had a look the FB mob truly came out nearly every post is the same shit saying we support mr and the team but wont go to any games nopm bla bla

Rugby is worse than football for over reaching
Especially as the rewards are far less even if you succeed at the very highest level
The reason some Wasps fans are so bitter against us is they can see what's heading their way if next season turns out to be the ordeal the loss of their best players suggests
Be interesting to see David Conn's take on how it unfolds
I reckon he'll be fairly quiet

The move from HR to the Ricoh made going to games more of a faff for my family than travelling to Birmingham City will. This must be true for many, many others.

Ha! Spoken like a true politician and the saying 'Up and down like a Whore's drawers' springs to mind.

“Secondly, it is a complete and utter disgrace that the Ricoh Arena, which again, was built as the home of Coventry City Football Club, is owned by a Rugby Club that has its roots in Buckinghamshire. How can that happen?”

Fucking legend. Fuck Wasps.

And while I’m at it fuck anyone from Coventry that goes to watch Wasps. Including several people that I know.

It blows my mind to see rugby making the same mistakes football made given they only went pro and formed their Prem League a few years ago. How can you not look at history and avoid repeating it?

Putting my cynical hat on is there a chance all the talk about a new stadium is to scare wasps into relenting and giving us a good deal at the Ricoh?

That, and/or to try to get a few more fans to go to brum.

Haven’t Sisu stopped the legals ?

We love the club, we love the badge, we back the manager and the team and we follow them wherever and whenever

Football is that simple really

Any other excuses to turn your back on your club are just that.. Excuses

MR, brilliant statement we absolutely needed that! And nice swipe at the council and wasps, fuck sitting on the fence, we've lost the Ricoh no point being nice about it anymore.

“I asked a diret question of the Owner if they were capable and willing to develop and finance the Club’s own stadium, and I received a direct and positive answer, which I can support and work towards."
Down to Sepella to keep to her word this time. No more pissing about.

This is the best thread I have read on this forum in a while. Robins statement while it is clearly devisive is 100% showing the difference between people capable of independent throught and those who are fully signed up to the philosophy of group think.
