I was about to post something similar. We need to move on from the Ricoh, it’s not our home and we should have aspirations that are more than playing second fiddle to a franchise rugby club from London.

We really do need our own ground in the long term. 3-5 years in Birmingham would be well worth it if that was the end result. This situation has been coming since the Ricoh was sold.

It’s actually really easy. We just indemnify wasps for potential multi million pounds consequences if the eu business comes to anything and put the future viability of the club at even more risk. Job done!

I meant what is stopping Wasps doing a deal without that clause? The legals aren’t going away. All it’s doing is pissing people off.

I wish people would drop the implication that those not attending in Birmingham are on some sort of protest. I haven't been able to get to a game yet purely because commitments in Cov mean the extra time it takes, as minimal as it is, causes me an issue.

I'm not on a protest and I'm posting on here as much, if not more, than when I was attending matches. I know other people in similar situations who are regular posters.

Every single one of us on here would take a season away from Coventry and a promotion rather than a return to our home city and another season in League One.

No because that wouldn’t happen. We wouldn’t be allowed to groundshare that far away.

ADM I don’t get the point you’re making.

Wherever we play I’m happy to see City and like all fans I’d rather us be successful than not.

I definitely think that a successful City has more chance of returning to Coventry as this puts more pressure on all parties and keeps the spotlight on our plight.

Good question - could you ask fellow Trust Board member Neil white the same question and whether he thinks the trust can get to the bottom of this?

The figure will never be known. 95% is a very generous number. I reckon it’s not that much, I think there’s far more not going out of choice than those who “can’t” go

Difficult poll. I can’t bring myself to vote for playing at St Andrews for 3-5 years. The quality of the pitch suits our style of play but that aside, I’m someone who isn’t really enjoying the St Andrew’s experience. Distance wise the drive isn’t the worst but has anyone had our experience of crazy driving once you get near St Andrews? We were nearly taken out three times yesterday. It was scary - and our driver is an experienced and very good driver. The seats are thin plastic and there isn’t enough leg room. Really uncomfortable. We’ve moved from our season ticket seats and talked to a few people yesterday who were similarly moving trying to find a more comfortable spot. We actually had a hypothetical conversation yesterday about would you renew next season if still at St Andrews. There was a view of ‘promoted definitely yes, still in League 1 I’d think about it’.

Agree with the general sentiment. Whilst I find St Andrews experience better than the Ricoh (I've never particularly liked the place), there's a bit of a novelty factor at the moment, coupled with the momentum we're seeing on the pitch. The drive there and back can be hateful. I was also very nearly taken out on Saturday, by a car cutting in then braking in an aggressive manner.

More generally, the club can't sustain what we are seeing on the pitch by not being back at the Ricoh.
