Surely there can't be another delay or postponement?
That will just make the whole country a laughing stock.
I'm hoping we get to the deadline, the EU refuses any further delays and then just kicks us out.

So those that support corbyn and his stance to get an election from the mess we are in (whipping to vote against the WA that would’ve avoided all these No Deal arguments) what are your thoughts now ?!!
If he chooses to avoid a GE.....as I’ve said all along, politicising a matter as important as this....I hope he gets everything he deserves !

Consider all the diatribe after a 52% against 48%. Then try and get another over 50% with three choices. It could easily be that the most voted for would get less than 40%.

The EU will not kick us out. This has all been designed to keep us in. The so called May deal would have kept us in.
The idea seems to keep us in the EU until we can finally start talking about a trade deal. Then the trade deal would keep us tied to the EU. My guess is that is one of the main reasons why the EU has said that hardly anything will change for 2 years after leaving. But for this to happen we must have some sort of deal.

Anyone who actually reads my posts in an unbiased way will know that I am in agreement.
Those in power seem to push for what they know will be hard to achieve. That was what May pushed forward. BJ backed her. Now it could be his turn to push for what will be difficult to achieve. And why?
The Tories are more pro EU. Labour are more against the EU. But it has been turned around. The Tories are now saying what people want to hear. Labour now have a leader that wanted out but wants the opposite of the Tories. Add this to his colourful past. It has knocked the Labour party back years. They have gone against what their voters wanted.
But after whatever happens with Brexit the Tory voters will be back. Labour? Will the leave voters ever forgive them? Yes many want to remain. But on the average Tory areas wanted to remain and Labour areas wanted out.

It won't take a lot for there to be civil unrest because of the way this situation has been handled. Even lifelong friends are at each other's throats. I am going to fish from my garden or sit in the local square having a beer watching life go by. The locals welcome the brits as we keep their communities going. The French move away in search of work. Where we live is just about all French. But not the schools. The younger generation have moved away. So not many French children being born in the area.

Would you like to explain how accepting the so called May deal would have taken us out of the EU?
Under the so called agreement we would have been tied to the EU until they agreed that we could leave. Then they would have talked about a trade deal. The trade deal would most probably have kept us tied to them. And part of any trade deal with another European country also includes freedom of movement. We would also still have to pay for the privilege.
The problem is that people like yourself screamed wildly about the so called May deal. You didn't like the idea of possibly leaving the EU in name only. But in reality not a lot would have changed.

No, re-read it. Theres currently 3 options
- No deal
- Mays Deal
- Current deal (I.e. revoke article 50 and stay in the EU)
Only 1 option removes uncertainty.

All going as expected. Liars and cheats steal an advisory referendum. Politicians had promised to enact the result. Relatively moderate politicians try and find a way of enacting the result without damaging the country. Not possible without upsetting leavers. Predictably fail. Leavers take control. Attempt to crash the country to prove a point. Fail. Next stop GE followed by PV. Revoke article 50 and have a massive inquiry as to how this happened.

Boris bullshitted his way through a referendum, then bullshitted his way though a leadership campaign and now his hens are coming home to roost. Still, they can always blame those that didn’t vote leave and those Tory Party members that didn’t vote Boris in so nothing to do with us guv. This is what happens when people won’t take the ownership of the consequences of their vote, they lose control.

The difference in reaction to those rebellions are unbelievable. It’s school yard politics from Boris and his team.
This is a bit backwards. You can’t legally negotiate a trade deal while in, hence the withdrawal agreement. The two year transition period is part of the withdrawal agreement but you keep talking about it as if it’s something the EU have promised and it will safeguard against a no deal “cliff edge” but the transition period isn’t in place in the event of no deal.

The prime reason for rejected the withdrawal agreement from the conservative side was the issue regarding the backstop which meant the customs union was in essence going to remain in position
Corbyn has never really provided a coherent reason why he rejected it

So you admit now that the alternative arrangements might not work? And it would only be in the customs union which was fine by most people during the campaign for the referendum.
Alternatively wait for technology to offer a solution or keep NI in the CU and put the border at see, which was also discussed and changed, by us (a concession).
