Over 3 years of the two of them being untruthful. And that is being polite. Look at it now. I stated that Switzerland have a unique deal with the EU so why wouldn't we be able to have a unique deal? Suddenly Switzerland don't have a unique deal but nobody will say who else has exactly the same deal. I have constantly caught them out being economical with the truth. Have had enough. All I want is a debate.
I am still waiting for someone to explain how I am supposed to be a leaver when my wife and kids live in France and I am still in England.

The whole argument is ridiculous as what other country had been offered the same deal as Britain? And not being able to comprehend the challenges of a country leaving vs one not ever being in the EU is bizarre and that’s not even taking the issue of Ni into account

We’re not even in Schengen as EU members, we vetoed joining it along with Ireland. Which is surprising as we apparently have no sovereignty as EU members.

I think an adequate analogy would be like options when buying a new car. Technically it's an off the shelf model, but if you choose certain options, trim, paint schemes etc you could have a completely unique car that no-one else has.

I seriously doubt any of my kids would get to that point. I help them with their homework on a weekly basis and I can confirm that they’re both capable of reading what’s in front of them. Except there is a difference between a different colour car and different agreement. There isn't another Irish situation anywhere in the EU. So a present agreement with another country in the EU won't help.
The easiest solution would be for us to remain in the EU. But instead of us spitting our dummy out and saying that the only solution is for us to remain isn't looking for a solution. It is only stating an obvious solution.
I still say that the best way forward if we are to leave is to extend whilst negotiations start. Threats of what would happen with enforced rules/laws that have to be passed before talks can commence will not pass parliament easily.
Start negotiations where everyone knows what the consequences are if there isn't a minimum of a free trade agreement. Know what would happen if freedom of movement is to end. Know what it would cost us each year to get what is negotiated.
Then put it to either parliament or the country.
We frequently hear (several times a day) that we didn't know what we voted for. Why not know everything we vote for if it is to happen?

The deal we have as members is unique. The deal negotiated with May was unique. What are you saying, could we have another unique deal? Sure, but it would need time to negotiate and the view of the EU (and most sensible observers) is that Mays deal is the only solution to our red lines and has very limited wriggle room.

We don't have a deal agreed. There has been no negotiations about a deal. The so called May deal isn't a deal. It is an agreement on how to go forward in getting a deal.
