people don’t not vote for labour because of an lack of awareness they have such policies but because they know basic needs such as employment stability and economic management will be ruined if they get into power

It’s not anecdotal polling has been done to survey public perception of key issues compared to the reality. Then we have Osborne admitting the 2010 bullshit and David Cameron’s adviser on TV bragging about him wearing an armband to win support from ‘scum’. More recently you have immigration cited as the biggest factor in people voting Leave despite most immigration being non EU combined with the strongest correlation being level of education.

The general public is a bit thick-there is no controversy to be had
