Update on what?
They didn't get us out of a crippling lease they went on a rent strike. They upped sticks and left with a plan to bust acl. It was nothing to do with the rent. How often did sisu complain about the rent before they relegated us to the 3rd division? How can you moan about rent whilst the wage bill was over 7 million a season? Ideally we should of had a peppercorn rent and access to revenue but we sold that privilege didn't we. You rant on about wasps but if its wasnt for the sixfields move and leaving the ground vacant then wasps wouldn't be here would they? Wasps sniffing about must of been a blessing from god for the council as they just wanted shot of the whole thing. The council sold to wasps purely out of spite. Totally cuntish but you can kind of understand why cant you.Even when it came out that wasps were moving in fisher still carried on with his bollocks about a new stadium and we don't want the ricoh blah blah. Fucking hell he even said they paid to much didn't he? Why are they dragging everyone through the courts for a ground they said they didn't want? This shit had been done to death. Theres only one organisation to blame for us being homeless and that's those wankers that have moved our club twice.
You are actually too stupid to have a real debate with.

You know when you are playing football and you’re trying to skin someone who is so so shit that it’s actually harder because they don’t even react to your fakes. Bit like that

Truth hurts does it? Open your eyes instead of resulting to childish remarks. What exactly do you disagree with in my last reply?

You blamed all sides and that’s not allowed on here. It’s all Wasps and Councils fault or you’re a mouth breathing bot.
Oh I was under the impression we turned up at the ricoh one Saturday and the doors were locked and we'd been thrown out.....poor sisu the victims again. Well at least they got us out of that nasty lease. We're homeless though but that's only a minor technicality.

I’ll bite - I’ll think you’ll find that we mostly blame all parties on here.

the issue that you and coventrian are failing to grasp is the only parties that currently have any immediate influence over our situation are Wasps and the council

Wasps do the council don't. The council don't want to know. Wasps could adjust the terms but they don't want to. You guys don't blame all sides, its all wasps/council/telegraph whoever. Wasps are a symptom of Sisu's mismanagement. Sisu were entitled to carry on with the court action but they knew full well the consequences would be this. This court action has now made us homeless. After the last court defeat for them, they had the option to knock it on the head, they didn't. They decided to chase the dollar in court at the expense of the club.

He literally called the council cunts and it wasn’t enough. Don’t “all sides” me. It’s pure bollocks. Maybe a couple of years ago. These days, you mention Sisu on here they throw you in jail.

It isn't though is it? It's you making shit up again like you usually do and jumping on something because somebody else just as misinformed is trying to push something on here.

Have a look through his contradictions ;)

It's one of the reasons I signed. I got tired of browsing this forum and seeing the same old lines trotted out. You could have a thread on here slagging off wasps with about a hundred replies but if someone chucked a 'yeah but Sisu's actions helped to bring them here' line the usual suspects would be on it like a rash. It's so obvious its laughable.

No the issue is and frustration is proportionality.

we know SISU have bollocked up, we know that. But people like him signed up to effectively bash the people who go to “the sty” - we’re the fuckers keeping the club alive.

Nobody here defends SISU, but what’s annoying is when people like you bat off the council’s part or Wasps part of “aah but” but when we say the same about SISU we’re all shills

Case and point - Coventrian says wasps are a symptom of sisu - but will he acknowledge sisu are here because of the council?

Sisu were the councils preferred option in 2012. So what. We all know why they were. None of us had a crystal ball back then did we. Nobody could of predicted the clusterfuck that was to follow. If sisu would if got us back to the prem after taking over would you all be praising the council? It wasnt just the council that brought sisu here though was it? Once again the club had shot itself in the foot previously by overspending on players like those in your username.

There were multiple parties interested... most wanted to buy the Ricoh. The council refused to deal with them.

And actually it was suggested they were dodgy, by Southampton fans - but the council still believed they would do as the council wished.

I could turn your last point. There were multiple warnings the rent would cause long term issues, and the lack of income was a problem but that didn’t bother the council.

ive stated before we were selling players to cover the losses - but that was just as the SISU OUT chants started. Hard to sell a product to our fickle fans if we don’t have a team.

nobody could have predicted the wasps when the argument came to ahead - mostly because the telegraph surpressed the information. Shame they couldn’t do that with the EU complaint

CCFC will never own a ground. IF the council were to sell the Ricoh to SISU they would keep the ground separate from CCFC then rent it to us. As the shitty council do.
Same with any NEW ;-)))) ground they built, they own we rent.
The only chance we have is to get an owner who would buy the club and ground, and then hand it over to us.
Unfortunately I don’t believe in Santa Clause.

We know all this. We know the council didn't want sell to the other parties. I guess the greedy fuckers expected the arena to be a bit of a gold mine and they needed us to keep on paying that rent to prop up acl. I was actually at the ricoh that day as it was the day we were about to go into administration. There was not much info on sky sports news as Capello took over England that day so I drove over just to see what was going on. I remember a load of suited people standing outside the players entrance having pictures taken etc. I assume that was sisu/council people. I even got interviewed by the telegraph and I remember saying hopefully we can push on ffs. If only I knew of the impending disaster! I'm sure a few of us got taken in a room, lionel bird was there and a few others.

If you understood the part that the council needed us to prop up ACL - can you now see why SISU took the actions they did?

I can to a degree but I don't agree with the way they went about it. That decision has brought us to where we are today. They pushed to hard though. They went to far with the new ground and we don't want the ricoh rhetoric. I guess the sneaky council panicked. Like I said before, wasps approaching the council must of been like a gift from god for the council as they could then wash their hands of the whole mess. Sisu were out sisu'd.

As I said before - I agree, SISU escalated really fast, that’s why the Northampton boycott in my eyes was correct.

wasps were being eyed up before the rent strike. It was Daniel Gidney’s grand plan - he was never a fan of the football club anyway.

Regardless of what SISU have done, they’ll eventually fuck off. What the council have done is catastrophic. This is why we need to go to St Andrews and support the team. We’re literally the life support until someone with a future vision comes along

Gidney might of been eyeing up wasps but they weren't here then though were they? The gift of an empty stadium must of been like the icing on a cake for gidney and wasps. If wed of remained as Tenants and not gone to Northampton then maybe we could of done something to stop wasps move here? They'll eventually fuck off? They've been here 12 years now and they show no signs of leaving. Is there any other club in this country that's had the same owners longer than that? And no I wont be going to Birmingham sorry.

We were signed up tenants when Wasps bought the Ricoh.

This is the point you keep missing. Selling it to Wasps fucked the club over for many more years after SISU have gone. Up until then their fuck up was much easier to reverse.

The forum's absolutely rife with this kind of bollocks at the moment, it's awful
At the moment? I make it 18 years and counting that CCFC fora have been rife with ownership bollocks!

If SISU never broke the rent agreement of about 1.2million a year we would have gone bust by now. Don't agree with how they done it but it had to be done to secure the clubs long term future. Shows how much we were over paying by the price THEY brought it for and then what they paid for the extended 250 year lease (so basically freehold). We paid 1.2 million for just 26 days use per annum and the insects got it all for a few years equivalent rent and coventarium says we were not screwed over it's all SISUS fault etc. Wasps played European games at the Ricoh long before we went on rent strike, think we can assume that was testing the water. Also how could we stop the council having a 2nd tenant? We rented it for 26 days, the rest of the year it was the councils/ACL's to do with as they wish as long as it never interfered with our games. We have been screwed over END OFF and it was planned.

Err - we did go bust & that was when we lost the option of buying 50% of the Ricoh.

And the reason was that the council were going to do it to get there money back so SISU done it first. It was still caused by that rental agreement and the council.

Sisu knew the rent when they signed up with about 5 minutes to spare ,that's when they should have sorted the rent out, but like wasps they are hard nose business men who on this occasion made a mistake that they thought they could bully there way to change at a later date so far it has back fired spectacularly

Yes they did know but as the councils preferred bidder probably though they could renegotiate at a later point. As you said 5 mins to go so no time to arrange it with the council first. Regardless are you saying that it was a fair and good deal for the club and they should have stayed with it or do you agree that it had to change to ensure the clubs future? How it was done is not up for debate, we all agree it was wrong BUT if the council were playing hard ball was that the last option. If other options available PLEASE EMLIGHTEN ME.

Sisu did a due diligence process when they acquired the club, so the rental agreement was obviously part of that.
Like any business you should have undertaken a full risk assessment - clearly sisu got it wrong. That was not anyone else fault.

All the people saying SISU did due diligence - you’re inadvertently saying they saved us from going bust.

If they pulled out - there would be no club right now... that’s because of the shitty rent deal and the councils refusal to deal with anyone else
