Apparently there’s another affair that Boris had while Mayor that’s going to come into question with regards to a conflict of interests.

Given the number of people he seems to have shagged, not surprised a couple of them seem to end up as conflicts of interest! Is it a defence that he passes through them so quickly, it can't be a conflict of interest as he'd never remember all their names...?

How is an affair abuse of power

If the allegations are true he gave her £100k of taxpayers money IIRC.

All seems a bit of a sideshow TBH. She’s part of a pretty shitty social media circle with Boris and Breitbart, but seems more interested in getting herself on I’m a Celeb next year than anything.

Charity bet that BXP get no seats?

I don't do bets, but I'm confident that they will get at least 1 seat

Until there is concrete proof then this is an extraordinary allegation

This is not the Arcuri one, this is another one but it seems to have been brought to attention as a result of the Arcuri investigation.

The problem is not all primary schools are created equal. Teachers are human and so are those who run schools. There will always be some element of disparity but the answer is not to ban the private alternative.

Yes, mostly down to cohort not staffing though. Staff change a lot quicker than the local area does. Finham isn’t top of the league and Grace Academy bottom because of anything other than the kids that come through the door. Look at Finham 2 for proof of that.

If said person was employed or given money by Alexander or the Major's office it is an abuse of power. If it was an affair with a subordinate it is seen as abuse of pwer (looks at the McDonalds CEO.

Yes you could be right , spent quite a lot of time there - their base rate income tax is circa 60% i believe but in Denmark things work , the people are not spungers - they have taken some very pro active moves and generally they are happy with there lot - an example miles from this but makes me smile - you cannot mow your lawn on a Sunday in some areas to allow for peaceful Sundays !

I like the cut of their jib! Were you there for work or pleasure?

How is Kennedy top of the league then?

You met someone who went to a private school who was a twat so private schools should be banned? We have all met people from state schools who are twats. So should we just ban schools altogether?

Where did I say I want private schools banned. A few posts before that I specifically said I wasn't necessarily for banning it.

If you were paying attention you'd also notice I'd said in previous posts I'd met a number of people from that background with that attitude. That was merely one example. Got plenty of others of owners giving their kids jobs after leaving school - would turn up late, leave early and do practically fuck all while they were there (although sometimes that was a blessing because it meant you didn't have to redo everything they'd done wrong). A few who would just get up and leave the office whenever they felt like it for a break. One girl took a call on her mobile (personal mobiles were supposed to be switched off) said "that'd be lovely, see you soon" got up and left. Didn't come back until next day. Asked where she got to she said "a friend called asking if I wanted to meet for coffee. We ended up having lunch and I felt full after that so just went home".

One lad was brought in to do work experience. He was essentially just going to stuff envelopes and put stamps on etc for a week. Got his induction and was sat down at a desk and manager said if you need anything come see me. 20 mins in went up to her desk and just said "tea, two sugars". Manager pointed out where the kitchen was and the look of incredulity on their face that they'd be expected to make their own drinks! He'd got the impression that the office manager was his own PA for his work experience.

That's not to say that every single one is like that but it's more a pleasant surprise when they aren't like that than it being isolated. They genuinely think the rules don't apply to them because of their background.

I went many times for work which was a pleasure - i found them very good to work with and i enjoyed my time there , they always were good to deal with and when issues needed resolving they were prepared to listen - they always made their forecasts

So I say I think people should be invested in their local school and you read that as I want all workers to be paid the same.

I repeat: you OK mate?

If you want to talk about pay, my position is very simple: you should earn what a free market determines is your value. As free markets don’t exist, the best we can do is put some controls in around exactly how much you can screw others out of their labour and tax at the end any obvious overflow.

We have capitalism to solve problems and assign resources effectively. It’s not a star chart for the human race FFS. Clearly it’s currently not doing the job as resources aren’t well distributed and problems aren’t being solved.
So you are backtracking now I see. You think nobody should be rich. Nobody should be able to have or do things that the rest can't do. Same as you say private schools should be banned because the poor can't afford them.

What are you on about?

Can we just invent each other’s positions now?
Can’t believe you’re for killing of all babies named Alan and forcing all black lesbians to wear chainmail. Ridiculous positions.
