I think this shows how badly disillusioned our fan base is now. People actually wanting to stay/travel to Birmingham for the pitch instead of playing in Coventry is laughable. I heard Leicesters pitch is better than Brums, lets beg them to play at the KP next year ey??
Stockholm syndrome.
Let's get behind sisu and distress wasps of our tiny rent contribution for the foreseeable future. Let's get behind the hedge fund that broke the lease and gifted wasps the ricoh by repeatedly saying they were not interested in it and were building their own.
Oh the irony.

No the selfish fuckers are the ones who'd rather stay at someone else's ground out of our city so don't start bullshitting about what I said. Anyone that wants to stay there needs to give their head a wobble. 4000 selfish fuckers that are staying away? And the rest. I don't hear any whinging, what will happen is people will just lose interest and drift away. 2 groundshares is a disgrace. They'd of been at least 12k at the ricoh for yesterday's game.
What about if wasps don't go pop? How long do we exile ourselves for? 5 years? The club wont last that long. If theres no promotion this season then watch the attendances dwindle even further next season. It's simply not sustainable, but yes let's carry on playing out of Coventry as the pitch is better as are the pubs ffs.
No those not going would have found some other excuse for not going.

What an idiotic reply. If those who are not going would find an excuse to not go then why were the attendances far higher at the ricoh? Do you have any evidence for your statement or is just the usual lazy pigeonhole quotes that people like you come out with?

Why are you not going? Someone on the radio today travelled from Skegness. It’s 20 miles down the road and the alternative was no team

Because I refuse to watch my club play its home games out of Coventry as I did with sixfields. Not a difficult concept to grasp is it?
I have mates that go. Fair play to them but it's not for me and the majority that wont go.
Where are we playing next season?

You could call Stockholm syndrome on the 'supporters' who have laid out the red carpet for wasps without a murmur of dissent.
Even now, with the Henley debacle, people won't open their eyes to what a disgusting shower they are.

Although he doesn’t express it in a subtle way the Coventrian is correct in the sense that Birmingham is not sustainable.

Promotion would perhaps allow another season away but its a long shot and a sticking plaster

As a bare minimum the club has to have a plan to return and make the fans aware of it

It is worrying some people prefer it there - I don’t see much logic to that but I do hear people say it and they would rather stay

It’s a very bewildering attitude but I think it’s a small minority

The lack of anger and objection by the people running the relevant supporters group is not helping. Unfortunately they have a different agenda and should just make that public

It is a principle that many will not cross. CCC SISU and Wasps all deserve the same treatment. They are all rankers but SISU top of the league. The next groundshare will be closer. Solihull Moors next time?

I think some people think if we can tough it out for a season or two wasps will go bust and the Ricoh will be ours.

I think that's very misguided personally.

People were telling Boddy and Fisher yesterday to stay at St Andrews and starve wasps out, we don’t want to go back to the Ricoh and get on with building the new stadium.

We need to be back in Cov ASAP but I wouldn’t just jump at the first offer. A 2 year deal with minimal access to revenues just puts us in this position a couple of years down the line. I want this move to be the last outside the city so any Kobe back needs to be something that secures the future of the club. Unfortunately I think that means waiting until the landlords (or their administrators) start looking at selling the arena.

Am I missing something? I’d thought this move away was due to wasps trying to insert clauses in any rental deal which could’ve scuppered the club forever?

What supporters? I don't know any city fans that have rolled out the red carpet.
Let's not kid ourselves that any of us really care about what's happening in Henley. If it was anyone else going about there business that way nothing would be said. It's just another wasps bashfest(nothing wrong with that).

Can I just be clear. You would have wanted the club to have signed an indemnity which could have put the Sky Blues out of existence if the council have breached EU rules?

I think winning games there and playing good football is the main reason why. If we were struggling there then I think it would be a different story. The fans would be on the players back and st Andrew's would be a shithole(which it is) etc.
I hope wasps back down with their ridiculous demands so the club is back for next season but the lack of communication from the owners about plans for next season and the future worries me.

Where have I said that? What I would of preferred was that the owners would of just dropped this ridiculous court action after the last defeat but no off they went to the European court to carry it on.
They chose to carry on with chasing their tails in court and have risked the clubs future. Let's be honest here,if theyd of let the court action go we'd be playing in Coventry now wouldn't we.

Speak for yourself regarding Henley.
And as others have said, no way wasps would have got away with what they did any where else, no matter how big a shower of wankers the football clubs owners were.

I agree. And what if they don't go bust? What if they can manage without us? Exactly how much income were they creaming off us including f&b? The worry is if wasps can manage without us and they do actually close the door completely even if this eu case gets kicked out. What then?

Our owner isn’t bothered, can’t people understand that. Any financial shortfall will be covered by player sales as always. Question, if we get promoted and Birmingham City stay in the championship are we allowed to carry on sharing St Andrews I seem to recall an EFL rule saying teams in the same division cannot share grounds.

I would agree with The Coventrian and Grendel. Will people still go to St Andrews next year, year after that, five years? The gates will eventually fall. Oh and the fabled pitch yesterday looked bobbly and showed signs of wear.

As a fan base we've been apathetic with action against are owners long before wasps turned up. Even back then some people were saying protests were wrong. Fans of other clubs would never of put up with the way we've been treated.
I've said before that I'd be all for disruption at a wasps game but nothing's ever been done. Forget the trust organising it as there a waste of time.

Really? Would they? Not sure who you are talking about there squire.
If we came back to the Ricoh I would be there again instead of away games only.
Also, on the pie in the sky new stadium, if there was a blue print/planning and a shovel inserted in the ground I (and I know others) would be buying a season ticket tomorrow.

Never mind the pitch. Were the pints ok in the nice boozers?

We haven't exiled ourselves. Wasps kicked us out.

1) not withdrawing the EC complaint against the council, which cannot be done.
2) not agreeing to underwrite any potential losses if the EC decide it was illegal state aid and order Wasps to pay more.

This has nothing to do with trying to distress wasps, they are doing a good job of that themselves.

Very true, not just when those inconsistent pricks pick and choose and bang on about their morals they just drop and pick up when they want.
Indeed. Still, they could always watch on I follow......
