On train back talking To 3 villa season ticket holders. All young - in their twenties - and interested why we are playing in Birmingham - it was two girls and a guy.

The girls were fairly clued up on the council flogging time Wasps and said it was shameful, a disgrace and community sport has to be valued.

The most telling observation cane when one asked what is your trust doing about it - ours would be road blocking the ground, demanding a wasps boycott and making life impossible for them

“They are a disgrace to loyal supporter”

Can't agree with this. Blackpool, Charlton etc were all united behind a common enemy. The problem we've had for years is that we can't even agree about who we should be protesting about and to. The whole thing is a convuluted mess.

There have been a lot of protests, in our relegation season, we disrupted 4 games where players had to be taken off the pitch. It went well beyond placard waving on a number of occasions. What good did it do? None, because those protests were aimed at one party who were so detached from them it made no difference. We were widely condemned by Sheff Utd and Northampton fans who suggested the protests were disgraceful. They weren't, but they were pointless ultimately.

If there was one big mistake we made it was not creating a bigger fuss when Wasps arrived, but everyone was so blinded by their hatred for SISU they couldn't see the bigger picture at that point.

The trust are about as fit for purpose as our owners, Wasps, the council or the EFL. Simply another addition to the shitstorm that surrounds us, … and yet … we're 5th, 2 points from autos, have a great set of lads, a manager we're lucky to have in this situation and the possibility of both a return to our city and a promotion on the horizon. We can sit and dwell about all that's wrong or we can back the lads, enjoy the rollercoaster that is CCFC and perhaps ride on the coat tails of their success. This.... can you imagine Leeds and Liverpool backing the council, and rolling the red carpet out to wasps?

SISU OUT is the long term goal - Short term we needed to get a foothold at the Ricoh.

I've always felt the Trust are about being seen to be involved in a struggle and the esteem that they think that brings them, rather than being interested in what's best for CCFC.

Strategically all over the place, caught between being a supporters' trust and a protest group.

Some excellent posts on this thread. What we should be doing is what we can to stop people wanting to go to watch wasps in the first place.
We don't know if negotiations continue or not. If sisu have a plan to sit tight and wait 5-10 years before wasps might go under then that's completely unacceptable.
It's time we amassed thousands of supporters to make a human chain outside of the Ricoh at a wasps game and make our feelings known. No violence . No law breaking but create an environment that will put some wasps supporters off should we repeat it. .
If either wasps or sisu don't like it we would no doubt hear about it and perhaps the reasons why .
We need to raise the profile of our plight because the football world has forgotten.
Have we got enough supporters who care about the club to do this ? Yes we have but so far, apart from two big marches, all I've seen is half arsed demos involving a few dozen fans. I can't think of any club as " big" as ours who's fans have done so little. The blame lies with those who put themselves forward as representative groups for the supporters. They're a disgrace.

Lets do something for the next time Wasps are home on an International weekend? Maybe blocking the turnstiles might not be the answer as I suspect that would end up in violence but definitely something up there to create some sort of scene.

It's difficult because no one wants violence or to be arrested but surely it'll piss wasps off if we motivated thousands to do it. They would perhaps retaliate by saying that by doing so we jeopardise talks to return the sky blues to the Ricoh. For me that would indicate they would be worried . They can't hold supporters to ransom .
So to whom do we put such radical suggestions to ? I've no idea.

The idea of confrontation puts a lot of people off , understandably so.
This is why I asked about parking capacity at the Ricoh arena. Parking is difficult around the Arena, as we know. I've always parked opposite Longford Park, up Blackburn Road that runs up to the canal near the Ricoh itself. Its a fair treck to the Arena but it does get pretty full up there when we've got crowds over 10,000.
Parking at Tesco is a no go. Lots of roads are no parking on match days. This means that street parking is very limited.
We should take advantage of this. How many supporters or more specifically cars would it take to make parking off the Ricoh premises virtually impossible on Wasps match days ? Park up 90 mins before kick off and leave at kick off. No one would even know you supported CCFC and if so , so what ?. Do some shopping, go for a long walk. Go home at kick off time. No confrontation. Nothing illegal. Job done. Force Wasps fans to pay in the Arena Car Park or park miles away. It might give wasps more cash in the short term but it'll piss their supporters off and mean they are forking out far more on match days .
If the Area car parks hold 15,000 then i'm wasting my time. If it's significantly less then in principle it could cause chaos.
This might be hard to organise because it means supporters do not congregate in one area like at a rally and it probably needs coordinating via social media etc. However, we all know where we used to park and we usually park in the same place match by match. If we thwart this it could be very difficult for them to find alternative parking , with minimal effort from us except by parking our cars.

At the time no. 3 parties who could still/should still be being held to account but guess what-nothing and as said previously people happy to bumble along and maintain the status quo even now knowing what has supposedly come to light.
