I remember being on 606 and knew this place existed but it was dead.

When 606 announced it was closing I told everyone about this place and they all jumped ship and then it snowballed.

So basically this place would still be a graveyard without me.

Started on Last and then GMK and now creating the odd comment here ! I enjoy the banter but not any aggression- no need everyone has a right to an opinion even if it is batshit crazy

I still miss GMK. Said before the football chat was always good.
Sadly I'm old enough to go as far back as Nev's stewardship in the late 90s.
Still remember Smiles having a "strop" and posting a list of Bob's & Curtis's banned aliases to highlight how difficult it was to admin the site - there were literally 100s of them :)

It was admittedly a sad day when I found out westterrace2 / coventrycityfan was actually a real person doing real things, and not a troll!

Were some proper characters on there. Times have changed - wouldn't get away with some of that behaviour - either online or off it :)

No. I have to admit I took the bear pit and the trolling as just the default. If that happened today, it'd ruin our chances of becoming Tory / Labour MPs (or maybe not ;))

No it wasn’t bob but Foo_Fighter. There wasn’t a photo. My take on it was I don’t think that FF meant to offend anyone and didn’t know the Rofl was stepping out with Princess Smiles.

FF disappeared for a while and re-emerged as Fellatio Martinez. ;-)

cant remember who it was, but he saw the girl and said what a minger, or something equally insulting, not knowing it was smiles daughter. Smiles went all Rambo like, threats galore.
