No, not disagreeing. Just always seems capable of getting one.But Bayliss doesn’t get many and alongside him never and the defenders get none
Feel a lot more comfortable with Bayliss in front of goal than with Thomas.

Put a question mark next to 21 lmao. Easy win for me...againhe's 24 you nutjob
You say that like the teams we play against miss sitters against us as often as we miss ‘emThe bottom line with all of our players is if they were any good, they wouldn't be playing in League 1.
He doesn't hit his shots hard enough, often scuffs them and hits far too many too close to the goalkeeper. For me, Hiwula at least recently every shot he gets he tries to place low, side foots it. Which ultimately has made it easier for the keeper to make a save. If he lifted it higher or put his foot through it then I reckon he’d have scored a couple of these chances.
This to me is him lacking confidence or being scared of missing.
That said, I think I’d be right in saying that the goals he has scored for us have possibly all been the same - placed shots rather than with his laces.
Touch let him down sat when in a great position he’s one of them players not consistent enough. He doesn't hit his shots hard enough, often scuffs them and hits far too many too close to the goalkeeper.

So I'll bump this as Hiwula's signing baffles me still, but in different ways to how I expected.
He ended up playing more than I thought he would, and last season scored when nobody else could. He always seemed rather anonymous apart from the goals however. Also, arguably, he wasn't quite playing in position.
This season something's clearly happened. We seem to have seen the last of him, and Biamou and Baka have moved ahead of him in the backup striker pecking order.
Still think if the Chaplin signing hadn't drawn out so long, we'd have never seen himat the club. He's always seemed slightly... out of place.
If previous form is to go by when Robins falls out with a player he probably won't be seen in a City shirt again
I can't help but think Robins expected Chaplin to be at the training ground, found it was Hiwula instead, so he had to work twice as hard to impress the manager. But, clearly characters don't mesh so at some stage Hiwula's said sod ya then, instead of trying.Think Robins has made multiple allusions to him not being quite right with fitness/attitude. I wonder if it was during that spell when we only had Baka fit from all the strikersSo I'll bump this as Hiwula's signing baffles me still, but in different ways to how I expected.

Good attitude to have! Only have to look at managers like Ole at united, he seemingly cant drop a bad player to save his life and is too soft

Robins has shown in the past not nescessarily even about a fall out or attitude. If a players form drops he will drop him. Proven that throughout his time. Even with his favorites Doyle and Bayliss last year.
Don’t think this was handled brilliantly by publicly slating the guy but as we read the other day, Robins was taught by Ferguson so once you piss him off your days are pretty much numbered.
Win games in hand we go top I’ll take how ever he manages if it works like it seems to be of lateI don't necessarily agree with Robins' hard shoulder approach as it doesn't work with all players. Managers need to know which players he can kick up the arse and which players need an arm round their shoulder. With Robins, I've noticed in his three full seasons here he'll often give an arm over the shoulder to the younger players and just expect the older players to sack it up, regardless of their personality or ego. In this day and age you have to have a versatile approach when dealing with footballers - especially ones with egos. Otherwise you simply aren't going to get the best out of the Hiwula's, or JCH's of this world.
It's all part of the psychology of being a manager but it's something he seemingly lacks at times and can be hugely frustrating.
Unless you actually are on the inside I don’t know how you can make a comment like the one above and state it as if it were a fact. You know he is lacking in the psychology of how to treat certain players? I think you could put the idea forward as a possibility but to say you are frustrated by someone on a supposition I think is going a bit far.I don't necessarily agree with Robins' hard shoulder approach as it doesn't work with all players. Not knocking it just speculating.
Chaplin was the main target, then it looked like the deal was dead so we panic bought Baka and Hiwulla.
Seemed to keep with Bayliss even when he was clearly knackered in the final run in but in general yep
Feel for Hiwula really. Always looks dangerous with the ball at his feet and never felt attitude was a problem apart from lack of confidence if anything. Who knows what would’ve happened had he scored that pen at MK Dons, could well have turned his season but wasn’t to be.
Agree with this. The team is better this season and standards have been set. He would of got into last seasons side without necessarily trying too hard and perhaps , and I’m guessing here... he doesn’t show the same desire as some of his team mates. On the one hand I agree, did half decent last season and scored a few goals. But on the other I don’t really care about any individual player. We are doing well, he and other players aren’t playing. Any of them could come back in and do well. Don’t give a shit. All about the team.
Wow - really thought Hiwula had been here a good while before Baka - funny how the mind plays tricks on you.
Simply not good enough,
He may of scored a few last season, but that was a case of being slightly better than the absolute dog shit we had as striking options.
The formation we play doesnt exactly suit his style either, (whatever his style is) and he doesnt put in the work rate of other players.
I expect him to be off loaded at the end of the season, along with Baka, Ponticelli, Kastaneer and possibly Biamou.
(Although I'd be happy to keep Biamou as back up)
