Sadly agreed. Same as wasps allowing ccfc back to Ricoh whilst under a threat of going under if the EU case wins. Same as even if they do go under, CCC allowing SISU or CCFC whilst SISU are in charge any sort of share in Ricoh.

That is the biggest single problem. What happens in the interim - Wasps are not going to play ball and B'ham unsustainable. Viewed from their perspective SISU's long term strategy (they are a hedge fund, isn't that what they do?) continues to mystify me. Just exactly do they want from CCFC bearing in mind you would have to be a bit of a dick to buy CCFC in its current commercial construct.

This is why, even if you were to believe there will be a new stadium, getting the indemnity removed is vital. The Ricoh is the only short - mid term option for us to come back to Cov.
In the highly unlikely, to say the least, event that SISU were actually building a stadium we could easily be looking at 5 - 10 years for it to be ready. Can we really survive in Brum for that long?
Having re read the giant letter/article from SISU in the Observer it could be interpreted to mean assistance re development at the Butts .
However you first have to be convinced there truly is genuine intent to construct.

They are stuck in a "holding" pattern. Once Wasps got control of the Ricoh SISU have gone into as near a breakeven strategy as they can manage.
A return to the Ricoh with increased crowds has the upside of maybe not having to fund running costs through player sales but doesn't make it that much more appealing to buyers. A return to the Ricoh with promotion probably costs them money due to ridiculous wage bills of the Championship.
Basically holding out for someone with more money than sense (more than a few of those in the Championship) so not a particularly sound business strategy.

In his interview Robins mentions the need for backing from the fans via season tickets, how many do we think he means and how many do we think we'd sell.
My guess would be a hoped for 15 to 20,000 but a sold figure of about 10,000.

The only way you’d get near that is if you geared everything to season tickets - namely a very cheap offer and £25 match day and no match packages

What you’re proposing doesn’t make much sense. If the club sold more season tickets but at a far reduced rate there would be less money coming in?

Guess you could look at Bradford's numbers and see what effect it had. It would definitely mean many more bums on seats though which could only be a good thing for wider exposure for the club
