The truth is your spiral of hatred creating this atmosphere and the Brexit outcome

I’m afraid if you call thick and not smart enough to have a voice and those people already have nothing they will find a rather angry voice

Rather than accept in 2016 the country is leaving and look to shape it in a way that fits their ideology you attempted to silence and remove the voice of many people, big mistake wasn’t it?

Slightly confused as to why you mention horse riding
Again you’re back to Brexit. When it comes to Brexit I no more than a concerned onlooker due to the rise of racism & the angry old generation such as yourself doing something to impact the young, who are much more outward looking and forward thinking than the ‘those were the days’ generation. I didn’t vote in Brexit and I have not been in the country since about 30 days following the vote. I’m not here to discuss the vote- i have no right to comment as I didn’t vote, I do have the right to take the piss at the sheer ridiculousness of it, and the rise in extremism that has accompanied it.

The point here is your willingness to defend; or at least refuse to acknowledge the unpleasantness of; some of the views on show here. It’s really just more evidence of how England is regressing socially.

oh and by the way, horse riding is a flippant remark referring to the fact I have to drive 2 kids all over the show on a Sunday so they can scare the hell out of me jumping in horses :)

Nothing angry about me. I’d have voted against it in the 74 referendum if I was old enough

Also if you have only been here for 30 days in 3 and a half years you can’t be basing this increased intolerance on anything you’ve really witnessed can you

Looks like the Irish had had enough of their EU-puppet PM and will probably kick him out at next week’s GE.

If it should go tits up for Leo, no worries though, I’m sure his EU mates will have a highly paid, high profile position lined up for him in Brussels as reward for his loyalty to the Union. After all, as a failed politician of a minnow country he’d have the perfect CV.
See this is what I mean- I’m not Irish (Although I don’t really feel English any more either, which I have come to think is a good thing) and I don’t follow Irish politics. I know Varadkar is the first gay PM (I will not attempt to spell what they refer to him here as) and brilliantly trolled Pence by showing up holding hands with his partner, and I know the basic differences between the parties, but that’s it. I’m not politically minded, I am social minded, there isn’t really a party that would ever fit my views as ‘the system’ is so fucked up. What is obvious is that the world is the most unbalanced & dangerous it’s been for many years, and that’s what I hate. You’re not going to worry me with comments about politicians, no matter what party. Oh I also know that the likely winner, Micheal Martin lives about a mile from me. But politics doesn’t really permeate society here like it does there.

As for your comments on minnows etc, that’s just your “Rule Britannia” mentality, and shows up who you really are, you don’t like other countries apart from the good old British Empire.

In the interests of disclosure, I was there (England) for 30 years, about 80% of my life. I work for an English company and I’m there every fortnight with work, and my family still live in Hinckley. I’m certainly not Irish but I don’t feel fully English any more. Which means I can see what is happening without any bias.

Quite a few prominent Brexiteers have been posting similar tweets to these. All of them conveniently forget to mention the transition period. That matters not to the uninformed who, decided by Saturday lunchtime Brexit was a great success. Anyone saying anything to the contrary was part of #projectfear

Haha- I was literally waiting for that, I could almost hear you typing, you’re a ‘high average’ troll but your predictability is what stops you joining the upper echelons. Onto your findings, you can also find Government task forces, committees and all that kind of thing aimed at addressing the problem, something that you will not find in your new right wing England. Hence my comments about the world being more unbalanced and dangerous than it’s been in decades. It’s everywhere, I’ve said it over and over, you know it. And England is actually legitimising it and building it into the way the country is governed, and you’re ok with it. The difference here is that it’s acknowledged as a problem, whereas in England people laud it and refuse to condemn it, such as your good self. And once again this leads us to the case in point- a guy on here said that drowning immigrant babies is ok. You have deflected away from commenting on this for days- this typifies the issue, people like you, the Brexit generation if you like, you refuse to call racism out, thus sweeping it under the carpet and empowering racists that their views are ok.
It’s not me denying that racism is everywhere, it’s you, the only time you have conceded that racism is a horrendous issue is when you are trying to score points and deflect away from your beloved right wing England- that is the problem and you are a huge part of it.

It’s already obvious what will happen- crash out on 31/12/20 and the gammon Brexiteers will blame everyone apart from themselves. Put your mortgage on it.

Tells you all you need to know doesn’t it? You don’t count as a country unless you’ve got loads of nukes and have colonised and invaded everyone.

the thing I love is the way the right wing always judge a potential leader with the question “would you push the button”?

And even on here, the gammons going around gloating about “losers”, it’s just in their mentality.

It’s hilarious. Ireland is known to have significant problems directly related to ethnicity for decades.

You have made several posts on this thread suggesting you no longer can tolerate England yet oddly are actually not here as you are paid to live not in a harmonic utopia but a country that is and always has been intolerant and insular.

You go where your coin is not your morals

That’s obviously why I work for an English company ;)

Ireland is way better, it sees problems and does something about it, over there you’ve got people like you tacitly approving the drowning of immigrants. Nice work!

intolerant and insular lol, good one :)

Edit- there’s a proper scumbag over here called Gemma O’Doherty, she’s like a wannabe Katie Hopkins. It’s informative to look at the differences between her and her idol Katie Hopkins. O’Doherty hates the fact that same sex marriage was first allowed here and LGBT is fully protected in law and accepted everywhere. She gets shouted down all the time, ridiculed and I think she got done for hate speech, not sure though. Over there, Katie Hopkins & Tommy Robinson- millions of fans, and the number growing. People in the streets campaigning for them, you can see even today the Union Jack brigade have been out with their garbage. Ireland is way, way more tolerant and active in doing things about it’s problems than England is, in England people like you are running wild.

Yup an odd disconnect between the self-styled Celtic progressivism and the reality on the ground
Anyway, if you don’t see any racism issues in England then fine, ok, you crack on, have a good day. Doesn’t say much for you as a human being in my opinion, just as it’s scary how you’re becoming the majority over there- but it’s your personal opinion, your country and if you want to go back to the good old days of ‘no blacks no Irish’ and ‘drown the immigrants’ etc all then it’s not my business.

So the majority are racist and oddly only in England. At least that but now makes sense

I’m from Irish parentage by the way

So what? You’re still ok with people talking about murdering babies in the sea, not sure what your parentage has to do with that?m
Edit: “immigrant” babies, no doubt if they were the right race you’d be more vocal in your renunciation of such a proposal

This is a weird jump of logic all I'm saying is that it's similar to Sturgeon pretending that all Scots are outward looking progressives yet when you go outside the central belt that's not the case. Lumping me in with the others is an odd twist

What EU research? Why do you think I'll agree with whatever they put out?
Exactly, and this is another classic thing that the gammons do- they spend all day long slating the EU, calling them untrustworthy, downright evil, then when the occasion suits they pull out EU stats and go begging to the EU for help (or at least while they could)

I fail to see how quoting articles contradicting your opinion is trolling. Here’s jolly old Scotland
'Get back to Africa' among racist abuse faced by Scottish schoolgirls
If you think I’m going to spend all day pulling particles about racism in England then I have better things to do, there are thousands every day and would take months to catalogue. I have facts on my side and the ever present sight of a racist government and racist society in the midst of an attempt to roll back the years to 1973 with people such as yourself aiding and abetting it.

Equally we're in a dangerous position of generalising entire populations
