Looks like it was sold out again
PMSL and that was with thousands of free tickets! When will they eventually go under?
Looks like it was sold out again
On the surface, and probably in the eyes of many of those plastic fans yes, reality mentioned in tweet below;Sadly much as it upsets me we have to be man enough to admit on the field they have had a really good night

But they "beat the Champions".......
Hope so.... is that just a comment or do you have any gems of info? The clock is ticking for Wasps.
They are really desperate with this match on Facebook there is a ad saying £15 ticket with 20% off + a free£20 gaming chip for casino, I think that makes it first time I have ever seen people actually being paid to go to a game
There was free tickets galore for this match. I know four people (non Coventry people) who were given free tickets.11.632 attendance (assuming that includes freebies)
Bring us home.
Was it really 11k and that’s there 2 nd biggest attendance????There was free tickets galore for this match. I know four people (non Coventry people) who were given free tickets.
It’s all over for wasps they need to start working on an exit strategy out of Coventry as it bloody well isn’t working what ever the plan is!
Gates are as low as 6,000 for some games. It’s soulless I’ve been told. Was it really 11k and that’s there 2 nd biggest attendance????
It's soulless with 28k there. I said at the very beginning that the gimmicks were unsustainable.Gates are as low as 6,000 for some games. It’s soulless I’ve been told.
Found out tonight that free tickets for Fridays Wasps game were being handed out to people who bought tickets for the Blaze. There was free tickets galore for this match. I know four people (non Coventry people) who were given free tickets.

I'm pretty sure they're not stupid enough to have gone ahead with this without running it past the legal dogs - but who knows?[email protected]
That's the email you should use to report that promotion as encouraging problem gambling. CC in the regulator too [email protected]
Something can be legal but morally correct as we know. Even if they come out of it fine it would be bad publicity if a gambling charity called them out.I'm pretty sure they're not stupid enough to have gone ahead with this without running it past the legal dogs - but who knows?
However, the morality of it all is highly questionable, isn't it?
What is noticeable though, on any of the relevant material I've seen, it does not specifically limit it to 18s and over. This, I find surprising.
Has anyone done it????Something can be legal but morally correct as we know. Even if they come out of it fine it would be bad publicity if a gambling charity called them out.
Found an image of the offer. Pretty poor taste to drum up business by using gambling

I think we should all report the screnshot to the gambling commission. The more complaints the better![email protected]

Not one for being a grass but this is hilarious, wasps have serious issues haha
I don't think it's grassing. With all the issues of mental health and addiction. Any club found not to be safe guarding and actively encouraging gambling for own gain(ie ticket sales) should be punished/ have negative media.
The traditional rugby towns & cities have solid fan bases and there is massive appetite for the game. I'm thinking of Gloucester, Leicester, Northampton, Bath and Bristol. Chuck in Quins too. But anyone remotely nomadic or yo-yo (Saracens, Worcester, Newcastle, Irish and dear W*sps) just haven't hung on to their fans, sure. Stadiums are big enough for what they need, and they pay their players too much to invest in new grounds. The most they'll do is a new stand every so often.Stand by what I've always said there isn't a big appetite for English club rugby (outside of a couple of well-established clubs). Or else they'd all have been building/moving to big stadiums.
Enough local "derbies" to prop up attendances with away support and then there's the never-ending supply of free tickets.
They've been here 5 years and just haven't developed a big fanbase.
It's the sport as much as the club.
I only know as much as everyone on here but it's looking increasingly obvious financially they can't carry on the way things are.Hope so.... is that just a comment or do you have any gems of info?
They must be getting towards a pretty desperate cash position unless Richardson is dipping his hand in his pocket or they're burning through the rest of the CVC lumpI only know as much as everyone on here but it's looking increasingly obvious financially they can't carry on the way things are.
If Richardson was happy to keep putting money in it would have made no sense to add millions to the bond to pay himself back. Wouldn't be surprised if the rumours he wants out are true. They must be getting towards a pretty desperate cash position unless Richardson is dipping his hand in his pocket or they're burning through the rest of the CVC lump
I really don't get why Kalns has any problem with the Henley campaigners. Surely he'll have a sense of kinship with them a group sticking it to the man?Someone is clearly rattled
