OyJimmy. Do you see something been done by close of business today, this week, this month?
I was just told that a deal is 'close'.
So by close I'm guessing, days or weeks

Joy Seppalla is who I would like to hear it from.
Not that high and not SISU shareholders/ employees in London.
Not giving any more hint's but if you can't work it out now then you probably never will.

This doesn't make sense then with Sisu counsel discussions ongoing about them purchasing 50% of the ricoh.
Why ? would this still be going on if they are about to sell ?
Maybe Sisu will get a better deal out of a prospective buyer if they had a share of the Ricoh? This doesn't make sense then with Sisu counsel discussions ongoing about them purchasing 50% of the ricoh.

That's what I said!!Bit of a long shot here, but here we go......
SISU can't raise the cash to sort out our squad that they have decimated. They can't afford the rent. They certainly can't afford to buy the ground that the council will not sell to them.
Everyone following so far?
The Chinese investor wannabe's want to take us over. SISU want too much for us as we only have debts and no home. They want more for their bucks. SISU are trying to do a deal with the council that if they sell to the chinese the ground will be available for them to buy. They have the cash for this. They are not interested in us if they can't have the ground. SISU will need all this agreed before a deal will be finalised. The ground and surrounding area is where the money is. Hotels and all that sort of thing to be built. The chinese would then be happy to lose money on the football team to make it successful. A successful team would add value to any developement around the stadium as the name would be associated with winning.
This is the way other sports and investors have worked before. Chinese investors have done this before. This is where we are a good investment. They would get a team in a big city with a new stadium already built, a decent following, value to be added as we get promoted, lots of cash when we get back to the promised land and lots of surrounding land to build on right next to a main motorway in the midlands. A good spot for the whole country to access.
Or do you think skint SISU would be able to do all this?

Here you go then Rich if you're taking on knowledge this morning, I have a few tips for you:
Don't wipe your arse with a broken bottle
Don't stand up in a canoe
Don't smoke in bed
Don't eat yellow snow
I hope this has been a useful learning exercise for you, have a good day

I understand your logic and admit it is plausible. But sisu are a hedge fund, they purchase floundering businesses and break it down for resale and ultimately, profit! I just can't picture them wanting a piece of this sort of cake. It's a massive project and doesn't really fit sisu's profile.
I can't see how this would make good business sense. The club would be near enough worthless now. My experience of Chinese here in Australia is Property & Casino's.
Can somebody check if the Casino is planning to add more Myjong tables?
I'd rather read 3 posts a week that meant something rather than 300 about what someone's best mate's dog said down the pub last night after 10 pints.
So why say anything at all !
I dont get it. If people dont like the post, dont read it or at least dont then comment on it.
It may be true it may not, who knows...lets face it there is little else happening at the moment except our manager is taking coaching badges that he should already have.
Still dont criticise second hand information, I mean if it wasnt for Rob I would never have known that you shouldnt stand up in a canoe and have now cancelled my Canoe Surfing course whose details had been sent to me from an anonymous sender in Nigeria. Apparently they also told me I had been left a lot of money in a will but I need to send them £1000 for the info..........
And if you ever buy a house in Skin Lane, make sure it's not number 4!
Almost singing Take That, almost.
Or even Westlife.
Just wasted 10 mins. of my lunch break reading this rubbish !
Ronan Keating?

I think you are all seeing far more into this than there is.
So what you think must be right and what anyone else thinks must be wrong?
So Joy is now involved. Is that because everyone else she has put in charge has messed up and now she needs it all to go to plan to finalise any deal to get rid?
I can't see what direction SISU can or want to take us. Nothing points towards them wanting to keep us. Nothing points towards where they can make money out of us. The money is in building on the land. There is a recession on if you hadn't noticed. They can't raise the funds needed to build what is needed. What is needed is someone with the cash to do it.
The points that you have made are accurate and I would be inclined to agree with you. Nobody knows what's really going on behind closed doors but one thing is for sure, SISU want out. They cannot come up with a business plan that involves them getting income from the Ricoh when they don't have the funds to purchase the 50% share, therefore the club is going to remain unsustainable for the foreseeable future and they will not be able to sign off the accounts, sign players and compete next year. All roads lead to SISU selling but that can only happen if there is genuine interest, and naturally those involved will do their bit to keep the intricate details confidential to avoid scuppering the deal. Let's just hope that a deal is done by the end of June or we could be in real trouble. PUSB
...and Richard Keys says?
Come on guys we are going round in circles here. You're worse than the press speculations.
I've said before if SISU can work out a compromise with the council/higgs etc then they have a secured asset base to sell on and leave the football club eventually. Something on the Ricoh rights must be established for that to happen. No other way forward. SISU won't put more in without these guarantees. It all makes sense and it will all play out.
Even if there was investors waiting in the wings SISU have got the to deal as they see fit in order to get back their investments. If there were other investors then i would have thought the council/higgs etc meeting last week with Ms Joy and others would also have required high level person/s from those investors present too? That was not the case according to the press.
I think you are all seeing far more into this than there is.
