Not that high and not SISU shareholders/ employees in London.

Not giving any more hint's but if you can't work it out now then you probably never will.

It's Bryan Richardson isn't it?

Your clue was who would I like to confirm it, this is who. I suppose that you got your info from Tim Fisher and I know that he is brokering the deal and is likely to remain in his job once the takeover is in place. He is not who I want to confirm it tbh.

This doesn't make sense then with Sisu counsel discussions ongoing about them purchasing 50% of the ricoh.
Why ? would this still be going on if they are about to sell ?

Maybe Sisu will get a better deal out of a prospective buyer if they had a share of the Ricoh?

Maybe the option to buy half is only with CCFC, therefore SISU will need to negotiate the purchase before the buyers agree to purchase the club.

Bit of a long shot here, but here we go......

SISU can't raise the cash to sort out our squad that they have decimated. They can't afford the rent. They certainly can't afford to buy the ground that the council will not sell to them.

Everyone following so far?

The Chinese investor wannabe's want to take us over. SISU want too much for us as we only have debts and no home. They want more for their bucks. SISU are trying to do a deal with the council that if they sell to the chinese the ground will be available for them to buy. They have the cash for this. They are not interested in us if they can't have the ground. SISU will need all this agreed before a deal will be finalised. The ground and surrounding area is where the money is. Hotels and all that sort of thing to be built. The chinese would then be happy to lose money on the football team to make it successful. A successful team would add value to any developement around the stadium as the name would be associated with winning.

This is the way other sports and investors have worked before. Chinese investors have done this before. This is where we are a good investment. They would get a team in a big city with a new stadium already built, a decent following, value to be added as we get promoted, lots of cash when we get back to the promised land and lots of surrounding land to build on right next to a main motorway in the midlands. A good spot for the whole country to access.

Or do you think skint SISU would be able to do all this?

Here you go then Rich if you're taking on knowledge this morning, I have a few tips for you:

Don't wipe your arse with a broken bottle
Don't stand up in a canoe
Don't smoke in bed
Don't eat yellow snow

I hope this has been a useful learning exercise for you, have a good day :)

And if you ever buy a house in Skin Lane, make sure it's not number 4!

I understand your logic and admit it is plausible. But sisu are a hedge fund, they purchase floundering businesses and break it down for resale and ultimately, profit! I just can't picture them wanting a piece of this sort of cake. It's a massive project and doesn't really fit sisu's profile.

This is what you said.

They will not want a share. They would want ownership if they are going to pump untold millions into the land. Would you put a small fortune into land that you only have a share in?

The reason I see this happening more than anything else is that our club becomes part of a package that would include cheap land to be built on. Our club becomes pin money to them then. Pin money that if the team does well would be a great advert. Then once the deal with Ricoh is over they would have their own mass advert for nothing.

At the same time the council would be happy as the running of the Ricoh would be taken off their hands, money would come to Cov with the buildings and extra spend in the area on which was wasteland and also this would create much needed jobs. We would end up with a properly run and funded club. Win win situation for everyone but SISU

I can't see how this would make good business sense. The club would be near enough worthless now. My experience of Chinese here in Australia is Property & Casino's.

Can somebody check if the Casino is planning to add more Myjong tables?

So where are we going with SISU and where are SISU going with us? If they had the massive funds for it all they would have done it by now. Their plans failed. They will now want out. Out with getting as much of their cash back as they can without a fail against their name, and cash back for their investors.

Some you win, some you lose. I bet they would be happy with being evens now.

So who is to say they wouldn't be after the casino as well? If they want to play certain games in a casino the place would be mad not to play them for any customers :D

Think about it, chinese love gambling. They have billions to invest in other countries. Why not England. Why not us? The Ricoh could be our saviour.

The stadium could be sponsored by Wang. Would that make us wangers? Oh dear

I'd rather read 3 posts a week that meant something rather than 300 about what someone's best mate's dog said down the pub last night after 10 pints.

Not me. That isn't going to pass the time at work now, is it? ;)

I dont get it. If people dont like the post, dont read it or at least dont then comment on it.

It may be true it may not, who knows...lets face it there is little else happening at the moment except our manager is taking coaching badges that he should already have.

Still dont criticise second hand information, I mean if it wasnt for Rob I would never have known that you shouldnt stand up in a canoe and have now cancelled my Canoe Surfing course whose details had been sent to me from an anonymous sender in Nigeria. Apparently they also told me I had been left a lot of money in a will but I need to send them £1000 for the info..........;)

Was it Onye with the latest ST incentive scheme? :D

And as to us being worthless....our value goes up as we go up. Would we be worthless if they got us promoted twice......like Southampton? The ground to be built on and a new ground means that once owned there would need to be less investment in the future.

The more I think about it the more realistic it sounds. SISU can't afford the ground and the council will not let them buy it, but they are in talks. Chinese investors are in talks. There is land to be built on close to the main motorway network in the middle of the country. The ground already has an income from events. There is already a casino. SISU not paying the rent so keeping the costs down towards the end of their stay with us. Funding for next season still not set. Is that because they are not planning to be with us?

Can anyone else make any more sense from what we seem to know on what is going on?

Or even Westlife.

Well I'm quite glad that you exposed my lack of knowledge of crappy boy bands tbh, Rich! Still, it's a shocking error for a former record store manager to make, even if I am proud of it in a way.

Come on guys we are going round in circles here. You're worse than the press speculations.

I've said before if SISU can work out a compromise with the council/higgs etc then they have a secured asset base to sell on and leave the football club eventually. Something on the Ricoh rights must be established for that to happen. No other way forward. SISU won't put more in without these guarantees. It all makes sense and it will all play out.
Even if there was investors waiting in the wings SISU have got the to deal as they see fit in order to get back their investments. If there were other investors then i would have thought the council/higgs etc meeting last week with Ms Joy and others would also have required high level person/s from those investors present too? That was not the case according to the press.
I think you are all seeing far more into this than there is.

So what you think must be right and what anyone else thinks must be wrong?

So Joy is now involved. Is that because everyone else she has put in charge has messed up and now she needs it all to go to plan to finalise any deal to get rid?

I can't see what direction SISU can or want to take us. Nothing points towards them wanting to keep us. Nothing points towards where they can make money out of us. The money is in building on the land. There is a recession on if you hadn't noticed. They can't raise the funds needed to build what is needed. What is needed is someone with the cash to do it.

The points that you have made are accurate and I would be inclined to agree with you. Nobody knows what's really going on behind closed doors but one thing is for sure, SISU want out. They cannot come up with a business plan that involves them getting income from the Ricoh when they don't have the funds to purchase the 50% share, therefore the club is going to remain unsustainable for the foreseeable future and they will not be able to sign off the accounts, sign players and compete next year. All roads lead to SISU selling but that can only happen if there is genuine interest, and naturally those involved will do their bit to keep the intricate details confidential to avoid scuppering the deal. Let's just hope that a deal is done by the end of June or we could be in real trouble. PUSB

Hope you are right, and frankly, if I wake up one day and it's a done deal, that's far better than it being fought out in public and getting messed up. Hey, Ken?;)

All that will happen if SISU get half the revenue streams is that they will take back money from those streams to give back to those who invested and still not give us a budget, surely everyone else can see that?!
