For anyone that is unsure if they’ve had the flu, the answer is no. You would know if you had.

I didn't have it confirmed but reckon I've had it once, and remember it being the worst I've ever felt over the space of two weeks, one of those where it goes on so long you start to think 'this is my life now'

Compared to that, everything else has been mild sniffles

Just for Grendel, here is another, more sophisticated version of the same graph showing the path we are on. This one is from John Hopkins University & the FT. We are all - in the West at least - on the same path. Not sure we will get games after Lincoln....

FFS, public health crisis, people dying, inadequate government response, yet people on here just want to score points off each other? WTF!

Well it looks like you've come to score some points of your own.

No it doesn't. The scale is horrendous and looks to be designed to make the UK's situation worse. With equal spacing on the y access you wouldn't even be able to see italy.

Also the article does not even try to argue the tweets point.

Let us look at the actual data

It shows that the data and date start when 100 cases have been diagnosed and shows we have less positive tests than Italy at this point. It does seem we can’t trust any of the data though

But the scale makes it look like Itsly isn't massively ahead.

The graph projection is nonsense

Running joke about how someone said they’d like to see Giles given a go and cc4l lost his shit saying anyone who doesn’t want to play McCallum for every second of every match is a loser who gets their football knowledge from video games.
Why would you want to disrupt a solid defence that’s worked ? Weird

What dip in form ? Did we lose any games ? Did we let many goals in ? Didn’t he score a couple and set one or two up ?

cc84cov was one of the ones calling for a taxi for Robins back in December, every game he hurls abuse at Robins for "not making changes", he's put the boot into numerous players and the only common thread to all the outpourings of armchair expertise are that they have all, without exception, been proved to be wrong.

The rate of increase is critical in calculating how much of the population will be affected. Angela Merkel has mentioned a figure of 70% but this is predecated on a daily increase of 33% with no flatening out, this number would be hit in roughly 40 days from now. If we take yesterday's increase in the UK of 22%, then the infection rate only reaches just over 2% in 40 days and difference of 50m people or conservatively 500K deaths!

Obviously this all depends on the actual profile of the spread once untested people are included and containment actions are followed.

Can you back up the taxi for Robins comments please ?

Your right on changes would liked them a lot sooner in games pretty common on here with posters wouldn’t say I ”hurl” abuse but again would love to see that backed up ? Let’s see if you actually back up your comments or will you make yourself look a idiot here again like last time you tried to quote me and got made to look silly ?
