FFS. That’s an horrendous experience at the best of times.

Went with the missus this morning. Shelves of perishables full, non-perishables nearly empty, dumbasses abundant

Do season ticket holders get a refund if no more games are played? Just wonderin' like.
I suspect not given the t&cs
"12. All fixtures are played in accordance with the relevant rules of the appropriate football governing body. Play cannot be guaranteed to take place on a particular day or at any particular time. All Fixtures are subject to change and the Club reserves the right to alter its advertised Fixtures without notice or liability. It is the responsibility of the Season Ticket holder or Guest to monitor fixture amendments."

I suspect a discount of maybe £50 on next season's ticket would be applied, Which would probably coincide with a £50 rise in prices if we are promoted.

Mate you start sharing antisemitic conspiracy theories about “leftist globalists” don’t complain you don’t get serious replies.

I draw the line at this response...back up your antisemitic comment? That is a ridiculous cheap shot and makes me question your intellect (unless your drunk)

globalists
  1. a person who advocates the interpretation or planning of economic and foreign policy in relation to events and developments throughout the world.
    • a person or organization advocating or practicing operations across national divisions.
How am I (or rather my brother who I quoted) being anti anything?

Look up the globalist conspiracy stuff you quoted your brother saying online. You will soon find mention of “zionists”

Think if you read the post clearly I was passing on my brothers perspective. I think his views are motivated by not wanting the world to go into lockdown (when historically we haven't) so this doesnt effect City anymore than it has to.
I do find it Dissapointing that some people are full of rude responses but don't ever bother to develop their argument.

Bottom line tho it's 3.30 and I am writing about this not watching City and that's frustrating in the extreme.
You used the term globalist and didn't explain what it meant

Agreed I could have clarified as the term is linked with the New world order etc. However, not all Zionists are globalists and not all globalists are Zionists. I hope Sheemee made the link by jumping to conclusions in the absence of clarifying details rather than just in bad faith.

I've always disliked Karen Brady but her pig headed and selfish opinion about the current situation have officially put her on my shit list.

In her column for The Sun, Brady wrote: “There is no dodging the possibility that all levels in the EFL as well as the Premier League will have to be cancelled and this season declared null and void because if the players can’t play the games can’t go ahead.

Sure but it’s the context it was used in. You say the left are anti-capitalist but pro globalist which is a bit of a contradiction as they tend to go hand in hand. Terms like “globalist agenda” and “bringing governments to their knees”. Another contradiction, most governments are globalists, globalisation is the framework of the world economy, except maybe North Korea.

Yes there a shift away from globalisation towards populism and there are conversations to be had but what you quoted is conspiracy nonsense I’m afraid. Like I said, you could find Alex Jones saying all of that.

Why is horse racing still on? Seems pointless cancelling some events and not others

I agree with much of this and thanks for setting out your perspective. I would agree most governments have been globalists to a point (with some not offering much in the way of reciprocity) but in the last few years some notable major powers are looking inwards more than they ever before.

Anyway back to the football, great to see Karen Brady being called out for her self serving comments on voiding the season.

Speaking to the wife. Macron has just about shut down France. Restaurants, cafe's and cinemas to close. Will most probably include bars. Looks like just chemists and certain shops will be allowed to open.

France has 300 serious cases of the virus with about half of them under the age of 60. So that is another theory gone.

I’ve just seen some stats about Italy where male deaths outweigh female deaths by about 4 to 1. Only explanation so far is men are more likely to smoke. Be interesting to see if this is replicated worldwide.

Serious cases in every age bracket is a concern but will the younger ones pull through and the mortality rate by age be the same as what’s been seen so far?

Reading a twitter thread from a doctor in either Italy or America saying they were treating 20 somethings with no health conditions in the ICU. It’s the very tip of the iceberg we’re seeing in the death stats at the moment, those who caught it early and are dying early. Even the death rate for younger people means thousands dead if millions catch it.

We are going in to lock down from 8am on Monday, only food shops and chemists allowed to open for 15 days.
Not allowed to leave your home unless going to the shops or medical emergency.
Not even allowed to walk the dog, (sod that, i can't have her messing all over the house).
Think i'm going to go mental locked in the house for 15 day's with no one to talk to and no work to do either.
