Trump is going big on it. His experts are saying limited success in a limited number of cases. He even stopped one of them answering a question about it the other night in his live briefing saying he’d already answered it and the reporter said that he wanted to ask the expert and Trump stopped it. This is the same Trump who was making a point of shaking hands while saying that this is the latest Democrats hoax. Still, what harm ever came from shaking hands in the middle of a pandemic.

Trump has a stake in the company that makes the drug, that should tell you all you need to know.

Whats this 'Hydroxychloroquine' like in terms of being used to fight the disease? Seems USA are going big on it.... India have now lifted the ban on exporting it

One of many drugs being mass tested for potency against Covid. I’d reiterate though that anti viral drugs currently being developed are the best shot at an effective treatment in the shortest time but that’s not to say there definitely isn’t one already out there.

Just don’t get your hopes up

tbf you've been jumped on a bit recently, so I don't *particularly* want to add to that but I think it comes down to a spot of critical thinking, as opposed to just blindly accepting what people tell you... and challenging what they tell you. You might after that still decide they're right, but you would at least come across a bit less like a spokesman for Righties R Us.

Anyway, the last bit kind of broke my own rule; this isn't necessarily about left v right, it's very different to normality so, in the interests of sanity, I'll leave you to it. Hell, I even liked one of your posts the other day

No idea. It properly kicked off on our conference call though.

People that carried holiday over or brought some are being told 'no refunds' essentially, and they have to use it in the next two months.

So everyone is prisoner at home and when it lifts have a six month period where they can only take 2 weeks off. Less than actually.

Again, it isn't a major problem if you get some perspective on the grand scheme of things. But it has still pissed me right off.

Seems to be a few companies using it as an excuse to do whatever they like and ignore normal HR procedures. We've been told no holiday will be allowed once we're back and this years raining allowance will be split between the next two years.
