I'd want to watch it, but I'd be very nervous about doing it unless the situation was much better.

That said, they could afford to spread us out.

That concern is likely not to go for some time and that’s the issue

Yup, I do agree.

Be interesting to see how they would limit attendances. Haven't some clubs got massive ST takeups each season?

They’d have to either allow tickets for 30% of games only or a lottery system

If the season went
What does that mean?

Gawd knows what it meant..
The prem does not have to automatically let clubs into the league. Unlikely that would be the case but it is the same in the EFL...unless I’m wrong in which case I bow in humble deference.

We need the ground situation sorted there’s no guarantee St Andrews will be allowed a chap on the radio the other day talking about all this said even when football returns he doesn’t see 50k gates as an example returning for a while and away fans travelling around like they used to for a long time.
So what could that make us ?

Not a chance. Clubs also will not survive and many will disappear if revenue is reduced

Solutions regarding attendances will have to be worked out - the itemiser league would rather play in front of 25% full stadiums than lose fixtures

All championship clubs it’s alleged have met and even discussed a nuclear option of all going into administration on the same day
Maybe it is a good time for a complete reset then. We could end up with fewer professional leagues. If TV money goes down the pan. We will be back to the 1970’s. City could be promoted and be 10 points to the good before the season starts... or would they join the pack? Carry their paper debt and here we go again. Nobody would get a sniff at the club unless there is a megabucks offer.

Tell me about it. I have a pen friend called Pien. Every time I type a letter saying 'Hi Pien', it changes it to 'Hi Porn.'

I know but if you haven’t noticed things have changed, do you think on resumption it will be the same as it was, I don’t and if away fans were barred for a time where would that leave us ?
It needs sorting,

Not accessing the stadium? But having said that, fans travel from Ireland to see Man U play at home.

Apart from thousands of fans travelling into another city every fortnight we are going to need increased revenue more than ever. There will be football clubs go to the wall due to all this. We are in a position when some sort of normality returns our gate return could atleast treble, it needs sorting asap

I think we start agaib in may. Annoucement in april

Behind closed doors at first. Maybe open to public late june

Lets focus on winning 5 games before look too much into how we lift title. Its not gonna be the way we all hoped most probably bit still a magnificent end to season we need to go out and achieve
Blimey. The virus has made your posts comprehensible.

The discussion geee suggests our gates may be limited anyway so it doesn’t matter

In the 1980s Thatcher proposed banning all crowds and having a pay per view system- that was in response to the hooligan problem. Different times but would a similar solution work?

No match tickets but PPV tickets. Might work as a temporary solution. Flaws all over the place no doubt but its an option surely.

The Prem have already laid the foundations for all games being streamed live by abolishing the 3pm blackout. Most likely to me seems the season finished behind closed doors with all able to stream legally.

How that pans out for season ticket holders, those who have already bought match tickets and those with sky subscriptions I am not sure. Although realistically it might not be that complicated. If you have a ticket you get the game FOC. If not, you pays your money. And any games that would have been screened on sky/bt still are.

Pain in the arse for those who can’t steam the games but would imagine that’s the that’s a small minority overall.

One thing for certain it’ll be a lot different and for a long time imo, not just football either, racing, rugby I reckon this is a long haul to normality until some sort of vaccination is ready.

Just took delivery of my 3rd kit - so pleased to get it and only took 2 days from when I ordered it. Don't know who is working at the warehouse but well done!

What is the Itemiser league?
What is the advantage gained by all Championship clubs going into admin?

Maybe some games free for ST holders and some freebies and a £10-£12 charge for non ST holders.

Seems fair if you have a season ticket or had already purchased a match ticket free or 10 quid others

Haha I’m only messing with you mate
I know.

It is annoying actually. I get quite a few kids write to me. The oldest that writes to me on there is 67 and the youngest, 14.

I think they should maybe put an age limit on it.
