So now a obsessive bible basher and a man who gleefully slaughtered a fox while wearing his wife’s kimono are the establishment on here - well I never

Are you not well?

You get so hung up on who tweeted it and not the content.

Are you aware that Maugham did not write the article in his tweet? Are you aware that Walker did not film or create the video in his tweet?

Er yes I’m perfectly well and I’m evaluating their opinions of the “evidence” - what next? An IRA propaganda piece or an exclusive which brings the government to its knees from a strange fellow who seems to believe a Jewish countdown presenter wants to kill Jeremy Corbyn and is intact a anti Semite

have a look at some of the comments on these marvellous scoops - not exactly positive are they.

Still I’m fine thanks

But the video was of selfish picks in the street.

It doesn't matter whether it was posted by Dan Walker, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn or Kermit the Frog.

What about the pricks in the conga?

Why are you so reticent to admit people were breaking social distancing rules?

How would admitting that affect your or what you believe in? I don't get it.

It sounds as though Johnson is going to (finally) recommend that face masks are worn and employees will have to be provided with them.

He hinted at this last week ( a day after one of his lackeys had had a go at Sturgeon for saying the same thing).

Just in a moment of desperate boredom strayed back into the world of Twitter. What an absolute shitfest that is. There is a massive swathe if normal people seemingly educated people that think the UK government is deliberately culling the population. Also it appears that no one should be expected to take responsibly for their own actions and require word for word instructions on how to live.
Personally what I’ve seen over the last few months is a government and a sizeable minority of childlike adults that are completely clueless

Some of the videos emerging from VE day and from parks around the country yesterday are mind boggling.

Not one fuck given regarding guidelines.
I'm happy to join in with any Tory bashing because they've been useless but no one can blame the politicians and say they aren't aware of what social distancing entails.

There were people who managed to hold street parties and maintain social distancing so I don't know why so many chose to ignore it.

I’m happy for the government to take a bashing too but sometimes look at this country and think it’s unmanageable. I was walking with my daughter in the park last week obsessively following the guidelines as usual. There were a couple of coppers walking around reminding people sitting on benches that A this wasn’t really the deal and B if everyone was doing this then it’s going to be a good way for germs to spread. Out of 5 people they spoke to only 1 lot moved immediately 2 others argued the toss for 5 mins and the the other 2 point blanked refused.

everyone is whining today that the new government slogan doesn’t give clear orders. Is that so people no exactly which ones they should disobey

This new slogan 'Stay alert' and dropping the stay at home bit is crazy. It is far too early to drop the stay at home bit, especially when you consider that what we have/had is nothing like a lockdown compared to other countries.

'Stay alert' ffs, what does that even mean? They do realise the virus is invisible right?

I agree that we should maintain the stay at home message but I don’t think stay alert is that much of an issue. I would apply that as embracing any new flexibility we have but not being a dick about it. So go to the garden centre but don’t lick the cashier.
The problem is so many infantile adults have even struggled to follow social distancing in supermarkets or follow which way an arrow goes so don’t hold out much hope. It’s easier for people to scream at the authorities rather than look a little closer to home

Yes exactly, too many people have struggled with the 'Stay at home' message so I think dropping that just gives a green light to these idiots to go back to normal, like all those ridiculous street parties.

You give people an inch and they will take a mile.

There’s nothing wrong with it at all, 99% of people have been really responsible with the stay at home message so why won’t it be the same for the new message? If people start taking the piss then the previous measures will be brought back in

Very true. I think the other problem we’ve had is the government knowing that any restrictions of the level of continental Europe would have been unenforceable given the feeble resources available so have always had to go with a softer response

That is the intention, this second wave is going to be a disaster.

Dropping the stay at home will be the green light for people to take the piss.

It might be ok.while we're having a bit of colder weather but when it gets warm again I think it will be a free for all.

We seem to slowly be making progress I just think we need to hammer home to keep to the current guidelines and I think we'll see some really encouraging numbers in 2 or 3 weeks time.

The opposition seem keener to get people back and out than Johnson. Ashworth saying we need a get back to work and schools strategy and lockdown is not a strategy

A strategy is not the same as being keen to get back.

I was fully expecting to stay at home until middle of June. To be fair, and I appreciate my good fortune for being able to, I will anyway. Want to see those numbers dropping and I don’t trust the public around me
Ye-es. I shall be lobbying my workplace to exercise caution!

It'll also take the piss if I've cancelled my wedding only to be told I could have done a version of it anyway.

Tbf I have no idea what to expect as the leaks have been ridiculously muddled this week!

As I said weeks ago the government and media have spent three years training people to think they know best and experts are liberal metropolitan idiots with no common sense and this would backfire drastically.

I’ll come back next week and I’m sure David Ike has tweeted he’s heard a rumour from Fred West’s ghost that a voice from the patio tells us all this is indeed a conspiracy to kill us all

You were posting a few weeks ago about Russian soldiers being on the streets of Italy so don’t now try and pretend that everybody else is sharing conspiracy theories.

They've taken out 'stay at home' and replaced the red with green in the material. I agree that the vast majority have been very good with the instructions until now but there are so many who have been waiting for any softening who are going to take that as LOCKDOWN OVER JUST WEAR GLOVES OR SOMETHING

I wasn’t but lovely try at diversion. On the politics programme now a labour MP saying schools should re open with the poor and vulnerable first in a phased introduction
