Yes equipment does seem expensive but the more you use it the better value it becomes. I only spent the money as I was worried at time I might not be able to get out if I received shielding letter. Luckily i didn’t. Funny though now I have the rower I have become more competitive with myself and want to row further/longer time etc.

Jesus, I'm a 42" waist atleast the jeans I wear are but I'm pulling them up every 2 seconds at the moment they are a year old so I did buy them at my heaviest so.

You'll be amazed how you'll drop though- the hard part is when you get low- you can lose a stone per mth at the start, when you get down its nasty trying to get the last few pounds off. Small bit of advice- don't spend too much on any new clothes just now, they'll end up in the bin in a couple of months..

I've put this on here before but search "RapidFit - Health, Wellness and Personal Development." on Facebook.

These are free HIIT sessions run by a Cov lad, and formal Royal Marine, which are solely body weight exercises and you just do as much as you can. He and his wife also offer both free nutritional advice and a health coaching all free of charge. You don't have to do them live with him every morning as they are just recorded so you can do them whenever you like.

I lost over 4 stone joining his outdoor bootcamp (Go Commando Bootcamp) about 4 years ago so can testify what he does works. SkyBlueDaz also used to go as well.

My Missus also used to go but stopped enjoying so quit about 3 years ago but since lockdown started doing the Rapidfit sessions and her fitness in just 12 weeks has completely changed and was buzzing when she went shopping yesterday to find out she had dropped a dress size.

Worth having a look.
I used to really enjoy boot camp , some really nice people there too

When i started I couldn't do 1 pull up. Barely pulled my feet of ground.

Now i can do 7 uninterrupted!!

My arms are noticeably bigger as i am getting compliments lol

There are progressions to get you from zero to first pull up. All on YouTube for free. Google chris heria

All i have bought id a pull up bar and some resistance bands to help me with the pull ups till I could do it on my own

Next step will be building core and doing handstands!

Cutting out sugar is the biggest difference anyone can make.

try leestuart.com he is running free sessions on Facebook every day, 20 minute blast that you can do live or watch and complete later, also giving nutritional advice on pegan style diet and intermittent fasting, not for everyone I know.
He ran a 21 day programme and lots lost significant amounts, even if you don’t follow perfectly, it does change a lot.
I started in April at just over 13st and am now 12st, food has been a real key cooking fresh the right foods but also the 20 min blasts every day really get the calories burning.

I've cut out all my sugar, every last piece and I've seen it on YouTube I just think I will be better doing my jump rope push ups and situos.

I can actually crank out 3/4 pull ups at my current weight, I'm pretty strong I just knock myself down. And I don't think a pull up bar will hold my fst ass.

Sounds good, I've got to lose weight before I get out to gyms I was sat here deciding what I want to do after I've lost weight because I'm dead set on it and I think I may take rugga up again just as a activity to do, since I'm currently single my life is a work, eat, play xbox, little workout, sleep I live a boring life

There are quite a few parks with gym equipment, might be worth a visit to one of them.

I know it sounds daft, but one of the best things i did was planking. You wouldn't believe how hard it is, I started off not being able to do it for more than 20 seconds, but you build it up and the increase in strength it gives you is amazing. Again- you just need a mat so its not complicated, but trust me- get yourself up to being able to hold it for a minute or more and you will feel the firmness & strength in a very short space of time. The experts would be able to tell you about what it does for your core in technical terms, I'm not an expert though so I'll just say it helps you lose weight & feel stronger really fast :)

Tempted to try this but will struggle with a pull up bar and dips.
What do you mean? Struggle to do them or buy the equipment?

I started on zero on pull ups. But you start off with Australian pulls up(I did mine on oak table) thrn jumping pull ups. Then negative pull ups then asisted spill ups till finnaly a proper pull up

Havw no doubt you could do it

Haven't got anywhere to put one, plug I am taller than the door frames so by not enough space.

I don't mind a chin up, think I have got to about 5 before and struggled.

Just back from my window round. Had a good sweat on after an hour or so. Customers look after me with glasses of juice and the odd cuppa. Feel shattered to be honest, but know I'll feel good later.
Early start tomorrow as I hear it's going to be boiling ? Feels more like a gym work out than just cleaning windows, but as long as I can keep going I'll continue till the body says different !

My mate is a personal trainer and used to work for Cov and Nuneaton and Leicester as well I think. He swears by it.
I am bitter that I didn't do this from age 20. Look better but also I think its genuinely more functional strength too

30 mins 3 or 4 times a week. No gym membership or travelling to and from

I do no need dips bars next. Weighing up wether to buy them and find sumwhere in house to store when not using or maybe join a calisthenics gym to see of thays better for me

But you can be ripped . Only roid bodybuilders say it is for women or puny men etc lol

Depending on what you are going for there’s no harm in adding weights to your workout as well. But a lot of musclehead gym goers are all about the disco muscles and that’s it.

That might have a 10 year guarantee, but my door frames won't have after I've been hanging off the for a few minutes
I have the same. Powerbar. And it's not causes any issues. I have owned it for 4 years lol but only properly used since March. No issues eith door frame cracking or scratching etc

I have push up handles to work tris too

To do all advanced moves will need paralette bars and dips bars at some point. Amazon ones seem overpriced though so i may wait till july 4th and go decathlon lol

Also if you guys want to forget excercise and just jerk off Google arica sky

You got a link for the plan/videos you have followed? I’m getting fed up of the usual workouts and runs!

Search thenx or Chris heria on YouTube.

Combine that with search for pull ups and you will find video to get you started

He is really good and does cater for novices even though he is capable of crazy strength shit himself!
