White lives matter as much , or as little , as any other lives matter. I think they do .
I'm not interested in Tommy Robinson either.
Am I an extreme right wing fascist racist for having the gall to say that ?
If your take of BLM is that they’re trying to somehow white lives matter less than others, then you’ve missed the point of it entirely.

And what if my take on it isn't that, but I still think that white lives matter in equal measure.
Is that possible ? You seem to think we're all Tommy Robinson supporters. That would be great for you to assume that so you could bang on about it, but many people who think like me are not interested in Tommy Robinson at all.
So don't assume everyone who isn't jumping on the BLM bandwagon and doesn't have a penchant for felling statues after 3 months of lockdown is a racist.

Why would I bang on about it? I have next to no interest in those who somehow believe that it’s all about trying to claim that black lives somehow matter more.

Then why all the strawman posts? Wasting everyone’s time.

Personally I don’t think your supporting anything. A few questionable posts and if I’m honest I’m surprised you are a teacher. But other than that probably a decent bit older than me and one of the lads.

What are you doing to support BLM ? Whats being a teacher got to do with it at all ?
I haven't for one minute said I'm against BLM but you assume I am because I think all lives matter equally.
One of the lads ? Who's? Tommy Robinson's ? I don't think so.

What are you doing to support BLM ?

First protest in Cov. A few donations. I’ll freely admit I’m not in it for the whole political side of it. I keep it as simple as black lives matter. That’s it. All the police stuff and defunding etc, directly against what I’d vote for.

So using that, BLM is simple. Black lives matter TOO. So all the questions and whataboutery and the ‘all lives matter’ ‘white lives matter’ stuff which in context are in direct response to BLM fucking piss me off.

And I get it. But I’m also sick of explaining it time and time again. Page 1.

Also, you keep coming back to this thread with quips and a post here or there. What are you actually trying to achieve. If I collated them and printed it off and posted somewhere it’s not a good look.

It's like the thick cunts can't get their heads around the fact the yes white lives matter but black lives matter as much as white lives and this hasn't always been true.

Following your edit:

Being a teacher is irrelevant to any of this so I’m happy to redact. It’s grammatical stuff which really grinds on me. But it’s only a forum so doesn’t really matter. Also one of the lads meaning a Cov supporter like we all are.

I’m not on the attack.

To be honest, everything I have seen that keeps politics out of it makes the most sense. It's straight up rather than trying to swerve it to politics either way.

I’m not even going to pretend I’m anymore political than voting for what has directly affected my own life experience and helping others and that’s as deep as it goes.

Well go right ahead. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you want to build up a case then do it. If it makes you happy then go right ahead. You sound like you've got an axe to grind.
Why do you need to explain "it" time and time again? Why you ? Do you feel burdened by it ? Do you think most people don't get it ?
Well we do. I do. I'm not your enemy but if you want to accuse me of not supporting what you believe in because I have a slightly different take on it then you're just promoting a negative response .

That's the same for the vast majority of people .

I think Hill has been more to the point in this thread than most of the middle aged white men who are angry on black people's behalf calling people racist and banging on when they don't really know.

Maybe if it didn't get sidetracked with all the Gammon type bickering it would be a better discussion.

No axe to grind.
I feel like I need to because people keep misinterpreting it.
Yes I very much do feel burdened by it.
Most people do get it. Your posts suggest you don’t.

But if you do then I guess there nothing else to say.

Because people keep coming back.

Nick always used to use the example for a limited number of SISU are cunts threads, because if they were started people would sagely nod and agree, and then they'd die.

By that logic, the same should happen here, no? Black Lives Matter, yes?

It also doesn't mean that particular aspects can't be asked about?

I ask questions about a lot of it, some I get, some I agree with. It's a given that I think people should be treated equally on the colour of their skin and in my eyes should be default without saying.

What I do notice though as that most of the bickering is when it is all about the politics which I bet the majority of people pushing BLM and actually having to face the problems every day aren't bothered about.

Only 12% of qualified engineers in the UK are women.
#womenslivesmatter.
Great so when we stop black peoples being murdered by police officers and general systemic racism, we can then rightfully turn our passions towards gender discrimination which is also prevalent.

This “white lives matter” stuff, what the fuck is that about? White lives are not being frequently ended my those who we are supposed to trust, and white people are not facing horrific discrimination day in day out throughout their whole lives.

Read a fucking book.

white men who are angry on black people's behalf

Not really having that Nick. That’s part of the problem. I’m not Asian for example but I’ve been in fights in the past to protect Asian friends from verbal and physical attacks. I kicked the fuck out of someone being racist to my Chinese ex and I was personally offended and very much angry. And will continue to be.

What you are saying on this thread. It comes across as strawman arguments, which usually suggests a disagreement with the original point or a misunderstanding. The 12% of women in engineering etc. If you get it then I’ll take that as true and leave it as that.

That wasn't about politics and trying to make it about if somebody votes labour or conservative or about Boris Johnson. Some people seem more bothered about jumping in and shouting Gammon or blaming Boris Johnson than actually trying to figure things out. Quick to jump in and insinuate everybody is racist all of the time etc. That won't solve anything.

Yeah of course there are genuine people that care. I obviously care about equality, understanding it (hence questions) and it happening. I obviously do think Black Lives Matter but can still see parts of things "said" (from every aspect) that I don't agree with. Again, this is where the politics come in that everybody wants to ram down throats and when you look at here and social media it's generally white people bickering about it and no actual, meaningful discussion.

Yeah, here we go indeed. He’s right. Unless he’s misinterpreted what you were saying too. Hope I’ve answered your questions.
Yeah but the level of anger on here is ironic , considering the constant slating of intolerant , right wing racists, some people on here are absolutely no different from those they criticise.

That’s fair. And there’s plenty politically I disagree with on the BLM side of things and things I’ve refrained from commenting on that would get too much fight back on here so I’ve left it that I do agree with. I make a point of not diving in with calling people racist, and it’s easy to do on here because I highly doubt anyone really is, but politics or not. Is there really people on here using BLM for their own political gain? Don’t see it.

“On their behalf” is a pure playbook phrase so be careful with it.

Fair enough but I’ve answered why I’ve said what I’ve said to that’s the end of it as far as I’m concerned. But I will keep piping up.

Got to be honest I’ve seen very little in this thread about Labour or stories most of the discussion has been on events, tactics, and personal experiences.

Not for gain as such but to fit it into their political views. Saw it on the thread about the Labour woman that people just jump on and go with what suits their political views regardless of facts.

I think (or would like to) that it's a given that people should be seen as equal regardless of skin colour. Obviously you then have the category that don't that get called out.

On behalf of wasn't meant as playbook, again its when people want to use it as a political stick.
