Where's this from ? S'il vous plaît

Twitter. Though I'll be honest, I read it and took it as gospel without checking the source! So I've pontially jumped the gun a bit!
However, I agree with some of the comments above that his days are numbered

Yeah not questioning, just wondered. Would be a good move for him if he wants it

would be a decent move for him.

If this goes through, happily have a £20 charity bet for anyone who thinks Baka will score more in the championship than max will in league one .
My money is on max

Bakayoko won’t play many games though, he’s the third choice striker

There wouldn't be much sense in him staying here with Walker, Godden and Baka all clearly in front of him, and he's at the stage of his career where he needs to be playing more regularly.

Even if the rumour isn't legitimate, a club like Northampton would be a good move for him.

Nice guy and would be a good move for him.. I'd imagine many of our fans will have a mental breakdown when it's announced

Even if they both started every match... 1 league is extraordinarily harder than the other... So it's a bet I wouldn't take

Northampton have just signed Joe Nuttall from Blackpool, I hope that doesn’t but the brakes on Max’s departures.

The last 3 years have been mutually beneficial for both sides.
Max was plucked from non league and has done a decent job for us meaning he will remain in the professional game until he retires
He suited us in league 2 and was ok in league 1. The Championship is a different level and one where we need a far higher quality’ of player.

If he goes, I’ll always remember Notts County, thanks for the memories and good luck.

I would be sad to see him go. I still think he can do a job for us

He has scored 4 goals in league 1 and a couple of assists - he could drive the bus but he’s not anywhere near championship level
