But is where De Costa should have been. Its about being streetwise, and we are so naive on top of individual errors. An away point would have been something to build on after the reading win. There was no need to over commit.

I don't even know where Da Costa is.

I still don't get that change and why.

Exactly he was right wingback and isn't even in yours or my screenshot. McCallum is there on mine.

My confusion was that he hadn't even played for the U23s.

Why bring him on at that stage of the game? Getting hammered by Blackburn is the time to give somebody minutes.

Maybe he’s been flying in training

Oh mate I'm still fuming. I can't shake the feeling that this will be crucial come the end of the season.

I make that 8 points dropped already from games we really, really should’ve won. Got to be ruthless in this league

No for the language he uses against one of our players. Do you honestly think you know better then Robins.... If he was league 2 standard he wouldn't be playing

Honestly this pearl clutching over one word is ridiculous. It was an infuriating moment in an important game and calling the guy who did it a twat in reaction to that is pretty understandable. Do I think he personally is a twat no, if anyone else had done what he did I’d have reacted in the same way.

Get off your high horse

Hardly a free run at goal. And BTW, why have we overcommited players forward in the 96 minute, where's the midfield? Why is Michael Rose so far advanced? We've basically left Forrest 3 v 2

We were on the ball in relatively safe possession ffs, Biamou picked it up not far outside the Forest area.

It was the 96th minute he didnt need to be so high up the pitch. He left a massive gap between him and McFadzean. I'm not excusing Biamous awful pass, but im sure when Robins and the team do the autopsy on that goal, they will identify a number of issues that led to the goal, not just Biamous poor pass.

Honestly, there is some hyperbole from all parties in this thread, but how the hell have we got to a stage where we're criticizing a centre back for pushing up to offer a simple pass and then the striker completely ignoring it and playing a calamitous pass?! The sidestepping the issue and willing to try and point the finger elsewhere is similar to our government.

I'm not trying to sidestep the issue, Biamous pass was awful and led to the goal, all I'm saying is there are a lot of other things that all contributed to it, and thay when Robins and Vivash pick the bones out of it, the sole reason for the goal won't fall on Biamous shite pass.

Its too easy just to point at that pass or McFadzeans push and lay the sole blame on either or both of them.

It was his pass that did everybody to be fair, you wouldn't expect an under 10 player to do that so it caught everybody off guard for him to run from by their box to then play their striker in and ignore everything else.

This caught McFadz off guard too and Rose who had gone to help Biamou.

Pictures are deceiving. Dacosta took the throw in, went on the over lap as max had the ball outside their box, facing the box. He then turned around, ran back 5 yards (at which point I'm going no no no no) and then plays that ball.

We were that high up Clive said, one last chance ffor the sky blues from this throw. It was suicidal by max

still raging, GF has gone and bought Stella - the stuff here is the ‘proper’ strength beer from years ago - probably best just to go to bed 😂😂😂

The missus managed to spill butter all over herself in the shop and it’s her time of the month so I’d almost rather be made to watch last night’s winner on repeat for hours

I don't doubt they do read it and yes certain comments are over the top but there is no doubt certain players are immune from criticism. Grimmer is another example. They are happy to take the adulation and butt licking on social media but don't like the down side. Works both ways

Personally I can't think of anything more moronic or damaging to individuals and the squad than throwing abuse online at our own players - I just don't get it.

The example of JJ in pre-season shows the damage that this kind of nonsense creates - as a true City fan why would you ever want to do this?

A big part of our success in our rise from L2 to the Championship has been the unity between our fans and the team; I personally was in tears at County given the support of the team and the scenes after. The unity with the team has been fantastic over the past 3-4 years.

Now that the team really needs our support some find it ok to scream outrage online and abuse players (in some cases screaming abuse and spending hours reviewing just one mistake by a player over 90 minutes) - it's the most stupid thing you could ever do as a City fan.

Support the team ffs and show some unity.

On the other hand people are strange and say things like he's the best athlete at the club?

There's no issue with people being balanced but not one extreme or the other.

I think that's fair Nick, I admittedly love Max and I really rate him. I admit that I have bias towards certain players (but ultimately I want to see all of our players do well).

I stand by my comments honestly in term of Max's attributes yesterday and I have asked others to challenge me on what Max brings to the team i.e. I have listed what Max brings and I have yet to see a strong case against what I have written.

To your specific point; I stand by my point that Max is a serious athlete. He's the only member of our squad in my view with the physical attributes and desire to lead the line, to hold the ball up, to take a buffering from defenders and win the physical battles (as someone who often references our team being bullied something I'm sure you appreciate this) and to make space for others.

Technically Max is also really decent; one of the best shots in the team and by far the best volleyer in the squad on what I've seen. Happy for others to disagree but it's what I see and I guess that the squad, Robins and Viveash also see what Max brings as he's being selected.

I’m over it now but Mcfadz and Biamou are still not good enough for the championship.

*also to make a point I’m sure mcfadz wasn’t crying himself to sleep.
the pass for the goal from mcfadz was at the level all day he’s been good all season if we are gonna leave him 1v1 against a quick striker that will happen time and time again we know he’s not the quickest especially against players like Taylor

Taylor had the advantage of having done fuck all for the whole game

exactly he puts a mediocre player who’d struggle to get a league one club ahead of our survival chances - it’s bizarre
Talking of posters who want players and managers alike to fail.
I bet you spoiled your pants when Max did that backpass.

This is hilarious...he hasn’t been a regular starter for the last couple of seasons, yet now Robins is supposed to think he has ‘one of the best shots’ in the team.

It’s just massive bias and hyperbole - he’s been selected for 2 games, get some perspective ffs.

The reality is that he will likely leave this summer on a free transfer as he’s not good enough.

It might be why he's a tad rusty though,no competitive game's for him for six months .
He'll feel a bit of pressure might have taken a chance the other night if the one that hit the post went in and his confidence built from that, maybe snatching at thing's.

Same Hoping today puts my anger from midweek to bed
A result today would help me get over it but if the expected result happens I'll probably just be even more angry.
