Let's get at them from the first whistle really is nothing to lose here, with the players they have missing put pressure on them try to stop them getting into the game the longer we can keep the score level the more doubt will sink into there minds and the more confident we will become.
Going for an optimistic 2-1 win for the sky blues and how good that would be Pusb

I remember back in the 80’s reading that Norwich were the club we were most similar too in terms of size (however you judge that). Fair to say that isn’t currently the case. But yes, great to back as peers with their ilk. SHFWR

Thing is places like Norwich don't have a great deal of competition in the area and so can increase the catchment area. While cov can get fans from Warwickshire, there is Birmingham on our doorstep as well.

Also due to that there's more competition for disposable income than in somewhere like Norfolk, hence why they're able to keep crowds high more consistently.

I love people's optimism, and it makes me think I'm missing something...

Anyway, I'm expecting a loss and anything more is a big plus for me going into some huge games in the fixture list.

Weren't Norwich a bogey side of ours in the late 80s as well? I think they we had only beaten them something like twice in 30 games or something like that.

Remember a game Bryan Gunn got sent off in for some reason.

That didn't sound right to me mate so checked the head to head and we're on 54 wins and they're on 33 with 33 draws

Interested to see how we set up today presuming O’Hare comes back in for McCallum with giles left back

Possibly, seemed to have quite a few back then! Our friends just across the city we currently play in spring to mind, although being there for the first cup and the first league win was something.

If we play two up front we can get something out this match, on the other hand if we play that back foot crap we could get a right duffing.
Hope it's the former!

Can camp play it out with his feet? We really need a sweeper keeper like marosi
Not today we don't. We just need a keeper who can hump it miles to the other end of the pitch, and then we make it hard for them to get back to our end.

Against Bournemouth (just to pick a comparable example), when we worked it out from the back, we rarely got past half way before losing possession. Better they start from their penalty area and put the onus on them. Possession does not mean much, as Cardiff showed. Their possession was at fault when we scored

I always had the feeling we used to beat them a lot in the top division.

Bryan Gunn sending off was for a rather dodgy penalty no?

Looks like he is resting some key players in preparation for the Derby match.
