We look our best when we are brave in possession through the middle, O'Hare getting in to pockets of space but our passing to him, notably from Mccallum has been so poor.
That said, we had a very good chance the only real chance of the half from Walker

Not sure what the game plan is tonight and doesn't look like the players know either. Carried on where we left off against Rotherham, very direct but look much better when we passed through midfield which wasn't very often because of deep wingbacks.

Giles for McCallum, Sheaf for Hamer sooner rather than later and a little more expansive down the flanks please.

Good news is they've been as poor as us. They look like they've come for a point to me. Wouldn't be surprised if we settled for it too.

Dabo not involved enough and Sam having a bad game.... so very little width. But could be more down to Luton’s wide play rather than the City

The main difference from the weekend is that Biamou isn't winning as much against their defenders to get us up the pitch, then OHare and Walker arent winning many second balls.

Agreed. Quality of the ball hasn't been great, McCallum particularly wasteful, but it's not sticking up front either. Max not winning much & some sloppy touches from both Walker & O'Hare too.

Luton area far better outfit than Rotherham in fairness.

It’s very even. Maybe Giles would be an option. Would be tempted to bring Sheaf in if they carry on with trying to get Hamer sent off.

It was quite odd that we had Ostigard overlapping Dabo at one point.

im watching the PSG game and the ref and players have walked off after the fourth official said a racist comment to their opponents assistant manager.
Think he might be down the job centre in the morning

At the moment most likely subs will be Giles for McCallum and Sheaf for Hamer.

Feel like they are going to try and target Hamer now.

Also need to be careful in the box. they have gone down 3-4 times

Disappointing first half; not really got out of first gear and we’re not imposing ourselves at all. Luton are vulnerable at the back but we can’t get the ball to our strikers. None of our influential players are involved enough, and that’s partly Luton nullifying us and partly us not seeming to have really got going

And to add to the shitness; both kids are WIDE awake and I’ve not even got to taste one of my ales yet.

Fully expect a better second half. I would give Giles a go at about 60 and depending how it’s going potentially Sheaf for Kelly as he’s slightly more offensive minded. Albeit I’m always reluctant to take Kelly off.

Optimistic we’ll get on the ball and be more offensive, resulting in victory.

Their system seems to be pinning our wing backs back

Trouble is that two up front doesn't always work. If our midfield is losing the battle then they don't get the service.
