Was supposed to move to Australia, was supposed to be getting married. None of it happening. Just so tired of this shit.

Lockdowns don’t bother me I’m not a great fan of people anyway and don’t drink so the pubs not an issue.

Work has been chaotic and I understand that is even worse at the moment (I am off sick after displacing two discs in my back working overtime).

Just want to get back to live football

In fact I hope covid kills them all!

not happening or delayed?
Married will happen eventually but we want to have all of our friends and family there if half of them haven't died before then. Fuck knows on emigrating, could be cancelled, could happen in the distant future, nobody can tell us anything with any certainty so we can't plan and we're just going through the motions day by day.

So if mine and the other half’s plan was to go to her parents house on Christmas Eve and then they were coming to ours on Christmas Day, what additional risk am I exposed to from a health perspective? Daft.

that's shit, especially about the emigrating. I'd say there's still a chance with your wedding if you're prepared to wait a bit.

Stream it, send photos, whatever. I'll repeat what I said above, if the ceremony's important, have a blessing the year after.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that

Start of 2020 we had so many great big plans and felt like everything was great and things were looking set up and now...

same, in a couple of months I should have been trekking round SE Asia without a care in the world, (well apart from have the kids burnt the house down), but you've just got to think of these plans as on hold not postponed, we'll live them one day in the not too distant future.

Such a massive frustration.

I'm not some covid conspiracy nutter, I know we need to lockdown, prevent spread and minimise risks but part of me wants to say fuck it all because I can't live half a life. My Christmas plans were to spend it in Cornwall with my future in-laws, just the 4 of us, its mad to say we can go for the day and have to then come back, we're in the middle of nowhere there.

Also part of the reason for waiting to marry is that it's village tradition that the whole parish is invited to the party, if we didn't do that we'd never be allowed back.

I think this is the main problem for Labour at the moment.

Their leader is more unpopular than the bloke who has just canceled Christmas for everyone.

Same here - the wife is a teacher. Her school ia fucking awful place to work and I don’t even work there!

Mine has her basically writing all of her students' coursework, observing teachers remotely during lockdown etc etc. She wants out of the profession but I keep assuring her it's the school not the job

Johnson approval rating +24, Starmer's +16. Kind of inevitable with the vaccine announcements and roll out that Boris will get the credit despite it being a purely scientific achievement.

Look at all those cunts trying to scramble out of London
Shows the issue with relying on personal responsibility which was being discussed earlier today.

We've had the Prime Minister and Chief Medical Officer say there is a new strain that is more infectious and it is vital we don't allow it to spread around the country. The publics response is huge traffic jams and packed train stations. What are the chances of that strain not spreading to the rest of the country now?

Should have enforced it with immediate effect
