A peaceful BLM protest outside the capital buildings was tear gassed to clear the way for a Trump photo op. Journalists and protesters were shot with rubber bullets. Police cars were driven at protesters.

Yesterday police opened the gates and took selfies with people attacking the capital building while elected representatives were told to put on gas masks and shelter in place. Can you really not see the difference?

The chaos plagued by BLM and Antifa has been played down continuously. Remember the 'peaceful protest' caption as the front for CNN as a building literally burned down behind it. I'm not using that as an excuse to pardon what happened last night, I'm just highlighting that towns and cities have been ripped apart and the same people losing their minds over what happened yesterday said nothing.

The fact is both sides have normalised violence now and that is worrying. It doesn't matter which side you are on, it is a real problem. These Trump fans that did this yesterday are a disgrace. There needs to be a zero tolerance on all of it now.

No protests, no road blocks, no attacking police officers. You stay in your fucking house until you can behave like an adult.

Americans stuck with 2 problems.
1. The Russia investigation for the 2016 election (which benefitted Trump) introduced the concept of electoral interference/manipulation on a large scale.
2. The variance in the way 52 states allow votes to be cast and counted allow for the fears/insecurities introduced from the Russian interference to be exploited. Ideally all 52 states would operate the same system for federal elections but highly unlikely to happen. But when you have the paranoia Trump introduced the huge swings (like Pennsylvania) just feed those that have been primed to cry "foul play"
