Boris: Schools aren’t safe to open until 8th March
Boris: Schools are safe
Boris: It’s the kids in school that make schools not safe
Boris: Schools are safe

In the space of 5 minutes.

Pubs, gyms, workplaces, supermarkets, stadiums are all safe.

It's just those pesky people that insist on filling the places that make them unsafe.

It would take vaccines away from the at risk groups he said
Something was published or presented that shows the diminishing effect on mortality or hospitalisations the lower down the age groups you go .
If say a thousand saved 10 in the older groups it would maybe require 10,000+ save the same in the lower reaches .

Blair famously did it too, although mainly in speeches to the public not in the House which gave the impression he treated the average man as being thick.

Maybe it's just something trained into lawyers.
Well maybe journalists too as Boris pauses, ers, thumps lecturn and jesticulates.

Imagine looking at him and listening to him speak at any point in the last few years and thinking he is fit to lead the country.

Imagine looking at him and listening to him speak now after the last year's events and STILL thinking he's fit to lead the country.

I cannot imagine how deluded and/or thick you'd need to be to think that.

Hearing Johnson, he sounds not too confident in the date so I guess this is around where Govt reviews what's going on.

Poor man, he wanted to leave, should have slung the lot of them out and give all the medical attention to those that want it.
Absolutely. I guess the one justification is he might have been going home to give Covid to a load of other people, who'd then use up resources, but if he wants to go home and die, let him!

But Johnson pauses AND adds in the er... anyway.

I like jesticulates. Clownish movements to keep up a buffonish persona. Still better than him pausing, thumping the lectern and ejaculating, which seems to be what he spends most of his time doing if rumours have it.

I watched a thing over Xmas about primary school kids looking back at the news. SOme of them were only 4 or 5 and even they were ripping the piss out of him for how stupid he was.
