I wonder if this deal is still going ahead? as he still hasn’t signed and Mason not in the St Mirren squad tonight.

Does he score?
We could do with the productivity of a Bobby McDonald type.

I agree with the sentiment and Bobby McDonald was a great defender and a great attacking fullback.

But lets have some perspective, McDonald was playing at the top level of English Football - its like us going out and signing one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League.

Looks the part doesn’t he? Wonder how difficult it will be to sign Scottish players when they’ve gone through independence
The Scots will want "independence" with all the benefits that freedom of movement, work and the English economy bring, so I wouldn't worry about that scenario.

Given the current issues with border controls.....imagine the chaos of a land border between England & Scotland with Scotland adopting the Euro, etc.

Will they just refortify Hadrian's Wall and rename it Sturgeon's Wall. As for money I reckon they have their own sovereign currency unit, or CU for short.

As long as a condition of entry is to have ‘I’m an ungrateful twat with a 700 year old chip on my shoulder’ stamped on the forehead.

Lol why on earth would they force all employees to remain in Scotland - unless your suggesting they will be joining the EU which under the EU constitution would be illegal

If they joined the EU there would most likely be an open border issue, as there has been with Southern and Northern Ireland and we could treat the Scots the same way as we are treating EU citizens, with no automatic right to come to England. We would need a Gibraltar style agreement I surpose.
