What a playerDoes he score?
We could do with the productivity of a Bobby McDonald type.

Yeah agreed, just dreaming.I agree with the sentiment and Bobby McDonald was a great defender and a great attacking fullback.
But lets have some perspective, McDonald was playing at the top level of English Football - its like us going out and signing one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League.
Not in the Ross County squad tonight
Must be lights on at Ryton !!!!

He's had an achillies injury so missed a couple of games. He's not featured for them since 2nd January, missed last 4 games, probably can't afford for him to get injured & scupper the deal.
Or big money to Ross county“Significant undisclosed fee”
we are big time cash money.
Ross County have significantly more money than us. They come from a village called Dingwall, which has a population of about 5000. Fortunately for them one of the inhabitants of said village is worth hundreds of millions and has been bankrolling them for years. We can but dream...Or big money to Ross county
The Scots will want "independence" with all the benefits that freedom of movement, work and the English economy bring, so I wouldn't worry about that scenario.Looks the part doesn’t he? Wonder how difficult it will be to sign Scottish players when they’ve gone through independence
I wouldn't worry, there are not that many worth signingLooks the part doesn’t he? Wonder how difficult it will be to sign Scottish players when they’ve gone through independence
They will need every penny they can get from us SassenachsLooks the part doesn’t he? Wonder how difficult it will be to sign Scottish players when they’ve gone through independence
Given the current issues with border controls.....imagine the chaos of a land border between England & Scotland with Scotland adopting the Euro, etc. They will need every penny they can get from us Sassenachs
Voting to have your cake and eat it? Well I never. The Scots will want "independence" with all the benefits that freedom of movement, work and the English economy bring, so I wouldn't worry about that scenario.

From a footballing perspective, it'd be a nightmare for Berwick Rangers. Imagine having to cross a border every game, either them or their opponents.

Lol why on earth would they force all employees to remain in Scotland - unless your suggesting they will be joining the EU which under the EU constitution would be illegal
If they joined the EU there would most likely be an open border issue, as there has been with Southern and Northern Ireland and we could treat the Scots the same way as we are treating EU citizens, with no automatic right to come to England. We would need a Gibraltar style agreement I surpose.Lol why on earth would they force all employees to remain in Scotland - unless your suggesting they will be joining the EU which under the EU constitution would be illegal
