Ravel Morrison ? (3 Viewers)

One of the issues with gangsta types is the effect they have on young players who look at them as role models and who think that's the way they should behave
JCH was a bit that way when he was here
Morrison was definitely the same at some of the places he's been
I get that, but what was it about Robins that meant that JCH didn't score at the rate here that he has elsewhere since. For me, I think it was just one of them things. For some reason he missed more often than scored. Seems to be an insinuation that Robins actively had a hand in the man not scoring as many as he should have.

Tbh it was a surprise to everyone when JCH went
That's football, the club may have got an offer and it suited Robins to move him on

I feel sorry for Ravel Morrison, he was diagnosed with ADHD but was prevented from taking the medication required to aide his condition as the medical team at Manchester United were concerned that by doing so he would fall foul of doping regulations.

Its crazy how something as detrimental to someone's health as being denied medication/treatment can be allowed to impact upon someone's life. It would be interesting to see how his life/career would have panned out had he been allowed to effectively manage the condition.

Its another sad example of the world not placing as much emphasis on mental issues as there is on physical conditions.

I have some sympathy with this, although I would have thought the use of West Ham's transport to take him and his mates to Manchester clubbing wouldn't be attributable to that would it? A certain element of that should probably fall under the plain stupid??

Undoubtedly, but he was 19 when he signed for West Ham and 21 when his contract was terminated to allow him to join Lazio. Not all of his poor behaviour can be attributed to his condition, youthful arrogance and stupidity are possibly also contributory factors. However it is worth noting that ADHD may cause impulsive behaviour, its not a stretch of the imagination to reason that poor decision making could be a by-product of this.

Starting week in week out since he left us will have done wonders for his form tbf. He’d be ideal for us when playing one up top in place of Max. Far too good a player to be third choice here though.

You think he just didn't get a consistent run of games then? Fair enough, I wondered if he was being asked to do a particular job that he didn't like.

I agree with that too mate. Can’t comment on whether he is a lone forward at Pboro or was at Bristol but certainly he is the main man and they play to his strengths. But for sure starting every game will be a factor too. Think he got 5 or 6 for us in 18 or so starts so certainly not prolific like he’s been since. But who knows how it might have turned out had he been the first choice every week.

Could’ve been an unbelievable player but decided to be an unbelievable twat instead.

Yep/many managers/players saying he was the best talent they had seen. 🤔
On a separate issue-any one know what Dele Alli is currently up to? Last I heard he was at Everton and seems to have vanished without a trace.

Thought he'd been loaned out to a Turkish side but I might have dreamt it.
