We’re a bigger club than Bristol City. They’re a good club these days but it’s not a massive football city, if they combined with Rovers they might be a force but it would never happen.

And before sisu took over we we had the 17th highest historical average attendance.. Above Leicester, above Norwich forest and Derby etc... So it shows the damage that has been done over the last 10 plus years

We've dropped 8 places in historical average attendances in 10 years

I know it’s semantics but...

At the moment Brizzle City are better than Cov

Shows how far we’ve fallen when people on here genuinely believe Bristol City are a bigger club than us. It’s concerning that we have this new generation of tinpot fans that see us as a lower league club, but I suppose you can’t blame them.

I would love to get Walsh in for next season. Technically, he was levels above any other player in the league last season. I’d offer Bristol O’Hare (+maybe cash) for him.

Get rid of your best player plus cash for somebody who plays an entirely different role

Lots of opinion but surely we need some criteria to benchmark the club's by:

1. Size of city (inc how many clubs in that city)

2. Historical achievements

3. Average attendance over the last decade

4. Record signing fee paid (with indexation applied to give current value)

5. Average away following over a decade

I am not saying the above are the right measures but some like the above might help make it a little more measurable.

He’s excellent at this level. I know many regard us as the reincarnation of 1980’s AC Milan, but he’s had a very successful managerial career. Apparently it was between him and Coleman when SISU first came in.
I heard Neil Warnock, I’m sure I heard him say on radio he thought he’d got it.

Cliche man for me. Maybe I just feel it’s a shame the same names all pop up for jobs. No problem with Bristol city but would love to get Walsh in on a free

Not sure it's that.
Seems like he's succeeded with most clubs he's taken on .
Seems bright and intelligent but a little prickly/ slightly arrogant .
Always felt the aggressive side of him is possibly to show he can survive in the Man's game is because he sees himself as more cultured than many involved in the game, cos he has been involved in a couple of bust ups if I remember right .
Similar to Joey Barton in how he sees himself but not as openly prepared to swing for people .
Also I don't think he fits the perennial image of the regular dinosaurs that do the rounds as he doesn't just resort to hoof it and put yourself about , too young to get the that reputation yet I think.
