To put all positive thoughts on our current situation
I'm wondering what Norwich will do with McCallum. They've bought a dud here. He isn't up to championship standard so clearly isnt going to be much use to them in the Premiership next season. They can't keep loaning him out forever, so surely they will cut their losses at some point and sell him on the cheap to somone ? (Not us I hope).Im positive that we won't get McCallum back on loan next season......
Oh, wait, did I miss the point of this thread?!?!

If he was still our player, I'd be more than happy with developing him. The rpoblem with loans is they need to be ready to go straight out the box, even if they are young, and McCallum is / was patently not that. That being said, it's only since Giles left (coincidence?) that his form has crashed, before that he was solid, if not exciting. As critical as I've been of McCallum I think it's incredibly harsh to label him as a 'dud'. He's a good player with bags of potential, his main issue for the past two seasons is that he's not had the luxury of being rested when he falls out of form - something that happens to all young players.
That being said, I don't think he's the right fit for us, especially with the system we play. Mainly due to the fact that he's very poor going forward, his final ball is often wayward and his defending needs work.

How is it worse?
Osti is better than Rose
Hamer is about the same as Walsh
James is better than Shipley
That's the only changes to his preferred XI
The players might not be at the level consistently but the manager isn’t eitherThe team that played away at Ipswich would beat the team that played last night.
Cheap and unproven. You cant possibly know that. The team that played away at Ipswich would beat the team that played last night.

Wrong thread. The players might not be at the level consistently but the manager isn’t either
The team that played away at Ipswich would beat the team that played last night.
Or maybe the team that played away at Ipswich was playing against a mid table League One team and the team that played last night was playing a mid table Championship team?
Bugger off back to the negative thread. You can spout your meaningless buzzwords and phrases over there.
You know about football if you say "the level"
I know I'm one to talk, but he really does change his mind like the wind. Hes only been saying "X" for a while now because he has about every opinion possible in the space of a day.And if you continuously repeat the same obvious statements. Some classics include: "Where are the goals coming from?!", "What will the EFL do about it?!" or my personal favourite , "I've been saying for a while now" [Insert Obvious Issue].

Why did you remove your comment saying that you said we would be relegated for months? After the Derby & Brentford game you were saying we were going to stay up.ooo big words from posh Kenilworth
We’ve been down that road before you saying we will go down then stay up so deleted it as we’ve done it many a timeWhy did you remove your comment saying that you said we would be relegated for months? After the Derby & Brentford game you were saying we were going to stay up.

Go back a few months look when said I fee we will go with Wednesday and Wycombe i also said I would love and hoped to be proved wrong, the level we perform at is inconsistent that to me comes from management down I haven’t suddenly said we will stay up,I hope we do our run in is the better looking one but the “easy run in” was supposed to be against Middlesbrough, last night Marosi should of started I like Wilson he’s done well but he’s been at fault in recent weeks I also blame max if that’s Godden or walker it’s 2-0 up again that’s down the the manager picking who startedWhy not just stick to an opinion? You're so terrified of being wrong that you make yourself look like a fool.
If you form an opinion just stick with it. You never know you might end up being proven right. But if not, we're all human so we're allowed to get things wrong from time to time. It's not going to kill you.
