All at once. Plus if it's a practical we are expected to live stream it-all while everyone's wearing a mask hovering over a Bunsen Burner

“Get your mums lighters out and follow along at home”. Feel for you man. Here’s hoping there’s only one more term of it.

Khan winning easily will also upset some of the floofs on here lie Tracksuit tom and Marty mcCry
It's not ideal but it's to be expected, stick a red rosette on a piece of turd and the idiots here would vote for it, coupled with the outrageously poor opposition its always going to happen. Not sure why the London mayor affects you so much in your ditch in Willenhall though, David.

None of that explains Khans lead. As much as it annoys some people he’s actually well liked and generally seen as doing a good job.

This is the city that voted Boris Johnson in as mayor remember. Not sure it’s “fed rosette on a piece of turd territory”.

It really is, Boris was an anomaly, he transcended party lines. I doubt you'll get another Conservative mayor in London in my lifetime if I'm honest.

As for doing a good job, well I live here and I can tell there is absolutely nothing better about London now under Khan. Also anecdotally, my wife's family, all nailed on Labour voters have really turned against him. But again who will they vote for? The opposition is wretched.

Anyway I cba to argue about Khan and the shithole he's helped turned this city into, if I have my way in the battle of wills with my wife we'll be moving slightly outside of London within the next year or 2. Don't really want to bring my unborn child up in stabsville.

For those of us who live in reality I can say this.

As someone who lived in South London under Boris and who's parents currently live there i can safely say that London is far better now than it was under Boris. Real steps have been made to improve equality, the ability to get on the housing market, infrastructure and much, much more.

There was knife crime under Boris as well and a lot of Met police issues are created by the Home Office. MOPCA and the Mayors office are the PCC and in charge of oversight and not operations.

Also he's looking like he is going to gain votes on 2016 in large numbers while the tories attack things like low traffic neighbourhoods that the majority of Londoners like.

London far better now than under Boris? deary me what a load of shit. He'll get in because he's Labour and London is more Labour than its ever been. As I say the appalling other candidates don't help.

If you offered him out to the country as a Labour leader for example you'd see how popular he really is.

Mate you're a weirdo with a history of talking shit.

London is "more labour than it's ever been" because people can see it's getting better. Under Boris it was awful and nothing was ever getting done as all the money was being spunk and unpopular cable cars and vanity bridges that would never get built.

Under Boris london was a place where the rich could get richer and the poor were seemingly being movedto the out boroughs.

Apart from knife crime which as we have established is not under the operational control of City Hall what is worse?

I'm sorry I thought you'd blocked me you tragic individual, I guess that was bullshit too.

Honestly, I've deleted a rant as I did promise myself not to get drawn into another argument with you. You are a stain on this forum.

I don't, I understand he is very limited in his power and that a lot of the things that people think are in his purview are either Westminster or LA areas of control.
Surely LAPD would be a bit slow to respond?

Moving back on to the point of this thread.

Why are people so hell bent on attacking European countries over the Az vaccine when the US FDA hasn't even approved it yet and no one says a word about them "undermining confidence in the vaccine"?

I would assume because at the same time European countries are pausing AZ vaccinations and 'undermining confidence' they are also threatening to block exports destined for the UK.

Partly brexit hangover innit.

i'm guessing it might also have something to do with the fact that several of the major European countries & the EU president have made litigious noises about export bans etc. whilst simultaneously refusing to use it & adding to the vaccine scepticism.

Also, I'm fairly sure the USA delay is wrapped up with the commercial interests of Pfizer and Johnson & johnson who are both competing in the market.....I'm sure theres quite a powerful lobby to hold the not-for-profit competitor back as long as possible.

But why ignore the fact that the US won't even approve the vaccine? No whataboutery

Also I can sure you that if the situation was the other way round we would do the same.

What about the raw materials , any countries blocking any of those?

Has India at any point restricted it's exports ?
They certainly were reported as considering it at the very start,it was reported yesterday this was consideration currently, dependant on situation prevailing over there

I fully agree with this. However, the infrastructure built in the UK to deal with this kind of stuff, and more, will gradually become quite profitable over time to whoever controls it.

But he’s not running in the country, so what a bunch of flag wavers in the Home Counties think isn’t really relevant. But even so, I’m not sure you’re right. He’s his YouGov ranking for Labour politcians:

Not sure how accurate YouGov is these days but even so you fail to show the percentage of people that see him negatively, much higher than both Starmer and Balls.

That’s fair. I think it’s also fair to say Londoners don’t share your politics. But still, he’s about to win an absolute landslide. To claim he’s a poor candidate is a bit weird.

No Londoners don't share my politics, which is fine, I don't spend my life worrying about who the mayor is. It is shit and I do intend to move away from it if possible, that's all there is to it really.

Back up to Scotland perhaps?

I agree a lot more with the general views and politics of Scots but the nationalists are a huge turn off and my family is all here. At the same time though the more time goes on the more I feel out of place in England
