Anyone tried the Aldi version of moretti ?
Tesco mate. £2 a tinGood selection! Where are they from Rich? Really fancy trying the BrewDog one!
I thought the hazy one was ok but the other one was rank. Might go and grab another mallow one today. That was crackingI've tried all of those bar the mallow. Don't rate northern monk beer at all tbh

It isn't worth drinking in any other format, definitely not the extra cold muck either.Really REALLY just want a pint of pub pulled Guinness.
I quite like thathad an Eagle sticky toffee pudding ale last night. Nice flavour but lacked a bit of body.
Just opened a Peaky Blinder black ale, wife bought it for me, quite wheaty in taste.
The NEIPA was decentAldi has overhauled its craft beer selection, 4 new ones I've picked up:
New England IPA
Craft Lager
Vanilla Stout
Double IPA
£1.59 a can
On the NEIPA which is decent enough, certainly for the price

Nice for the price, it does have a distinctive vanilla aroma.Vanilla Stout sounds interesting - any good?
Is it nicer than chocolate one you can get in asda?Nice for the price, it does have a distinctive vanilla aroma.
Time to collect it all together!
Anyway, one advantage of drinking less than I used to is I can go for quality ahead of quantity. Tried this when on holiday a couple of years back and really enjoyed it.
So now I get a case now and again. Their other beers are pretty good, too. Not so sure about the dark ones (not really for me) but the others? They go down nice and easily.
Went there on holiday a couple of years back - amazing scenery, good walks, had an atmosphere all of its own... and the one you quoted is still my favourite current beer.Miles behind on this but I’ve been to the Isle of Skye. My grandmother was from Oban.
Just had the strawberry lager, shite of the highest order, to think they gave it me because they were out of the vanilla stout.I went to Aldi following FP’s comment that they have updated their craft selection.
I’ve had two so far, the first one - a grapfruit pale ale - I had to throw away (which I never do!) as it wasn’t great, and the second - strawberry lager - I wasn’t too sure of either. However I wasn’t particularly feeling a beer on either occasion so maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood - going to give them both another go next time I am near an Aldi.
Oban a lovely, lively town I recall from circa 30 years ago.Miles behind on this but I’ve been to the Isle of Skye. My grandmother was from Oban.
Portree's lovely. Howling horizontal weather last time I was there though.Oban a lovely, lively town I recall from circa 30 years ago.
I preferred upwards. Portree was 'busy' and expensive. Around Staffin was great.Portree's lovely. Howling horizontal weather last time I was there though.
My local is advertising this as one of their beers when they open at midday tomorrow.
Anyone tried it?

If I can get in, I might just do that (they only have a couple of tables on the pavement outside and the place is very popular). It's not a brewery I've ever come across before. No, but I’ve had a few Shiny Brewery beers and found them good if not special - worth a go!
I’m heading to a local brewery pub tomorrow for a surprise on a family members birthday, we’ve got the kids etc so won’t be a drinking session or anything, but will be nice to have a couple of proper ales straight from a brewery tap nonetheless!
