No just very ill still.

Yeah I saw that the treatment couldn't be done.

It's really not fair when stuff like that happens to an innocent kid.

I knew Ash when we were at Sphinx together, he’s a nice lad. Feel so bad for him and I can’t imagine what him and his family are going through

So sorry for you loss I cannot begin to understand how that affected you and yours.

The loss of an innocent child is so hard to take, to understand, to fathom.

So fucking unfair.
My then missus howled the ward down at the hospital in shock and grief. You then have to have a funeral which adds to the stress etc. I really feel for Ashley and his partner.

Last Sunday I took my mum to Aylesbury where my brother was buried by my dad and his dad in June 1965. He was 5 days old when he died and mum had never been to the graveyard.
She only had a receipt for the burial and the plot number. Can you imagine not being allowed to grieve for 55 years!

I’m going to sort a memorial stone of some description so his memory can be more permanent and mum feels she can say goodbye

Bless Ashley and his partner - life really is shit sometimes

Wanted to 'like' some of the posts, but didn't seem an appropriate response. Sorry for your losses to those on here who have suffered in the same way as poor Ashley and his family.

RIP

I might be over thinking but something doesn't sit right with the Telegraph suddenly jumping all over every little social media post and putting out 5 stories a day for hits. It's a bit crass.

Yet more stories on them? I know a couple of weeks ago there was an article every day about both Ashley Cain & his other half constantly seeing her face in the clouds as well as lions too (to be honest, sounds cynical, but sounds like he's squeezing every drop out of all the attention too)

What has happened is horrible for anyone to go through. I have every sympathy with them for the pain and their loss, that’s about it. The way they’ve milked the media don’t sit right with me at all.

I don’t like the publicity they’re getting from his baby daughters death, from a horrible disease.

He is not the only family going through this pain but to me they’re milking it with the media for their own benefit.

I live in a small village on the outskirts of Lutterworth, last night around 10pm it sounded like someone ignited a firework factory, the sky was lit up orange which seemed to be the colour theme for the funeral.

Come on , they have had the ultimate heartbreak we all dread. If how they are handling it helps the grieving process so be it.

To be honest, my comment was aimed more at the telegraph.

I can't imagine what they are going through, the telegraph seem to have jumped on every little thing to try and get some clicks to their website which is the thing I find crass. Even worse the poor girl was ill for quite some time and didn't get a mention until she got some attention on social media and then the Telegraph hopped right on. It doesn't sit right.
