If you're as old as me you will remember when the big six were Forest, Vile, Leeds, Ipswich, Liverpool and Derby.
The current big six have gamed the system for long enough. Kick them out and allow new clubs to fill the void.
Of course they will need decent players so make joining the rebels punishable by players being banned for 5 years from other leagues and, crucially, representing their countries.

I think it'll be both Chelsea and City. Both owners aren't particularly in it for the money, and can pump money into the club regardless. I can't see any of the American owners being against it.

Reckon it's man city, for all the money bags they've done a lot of work in the community by all accounts and invested a lot in academy and infrastructure.

Would be hilarious if ESL went ahead with very few fans in the ground whilst premier League matches have full stadiums

Rashford has posted this on his twitter and Henderson has called an emergency meeting of all Premier League captains (not just the big six) for tomorrow. Players reportedly furious they were ambushed with this and are the ones being questioned by the media.

Apparently a German paper is saying Liverpool are on the verge of pulling out but its paywalled and in German so just going off second hand reports.

I find it slightly ironic that ex premiership players are slating the greed of clubs. Surely they were all part of the grinding wheels of progress to where we are now - with their demands, with the help of their agents to broker a good deal for themselves in terms of theircontracts ? Football will eat it self through greed ....its not about the turnstile payer ...its about the armchair subsriber ...who ultimately this is what it's all about ?

That would be some interesting transfer negotiations. A choice of Prem football and representing you country but no European competition or ESL and can't play for England or in the Prem.
