Your point makes zero sense.

People of any age can be racist. People of any age can be non-racist, obviously.

You specifically referred to boomers in a post which suggests non boomer racists are swell?

The boomers would love a war.

They go on like they single handedly won WW2 so another war they could take no part in but take all the credit for would be great for them.

Sending these two ships over to meet some French fishermen would have given them their first boner in years.

we’d love a war

No I'm taking your original post as gospel, which is what your type like to do , there's no second chances PVA you said boomers , which means them all , then you changed it to a (set of boomers ) ...Live with it you old hating bastard 🤣

Jesus Christ.

Yes I said boomers in that first post. If you can point out in that first post where I said all boomers are racist I will concede.

Yes I want us to make our rules not some unelected useless idiot in the EU doing it for us.
Look how they’ve done with the vaccine fcuking clueless bunch of idiots arguing while their population suffers and dies.
But I suppose that’s ok in your eyes.
If the EU are that good why do all the immigrants try and cross the channel?
They know what’s the best country in the world that’s why!!

Oh, the EU have fucked up big time in the vaccines.

But to talk about arguing while their population suffers and dies? Check the figures. How short is your memory?

Remember when we had prior warning from places like Italy about this and Johnson chose to ignore it (couldn't even be bothered to attend Cobra meetings about it) and kept everything open for the good of the economy (which then got trashed worse than Europe anyway)?
Remember when he failed to put in lockdown measures against advice from scientists and experts?
Remember when he didn't but any travel restrictions or quarantine measures on the borders for the best part of a year?
Remember when he and his government failed to obtain sufficient amount of PPE because they were too busy giving the money to their mates for equipment that never arrived or wasn't fit for purpose (add naturally have never tried to reclaim that money)?
Remember when they said a good outcome would be 20k deaths? Well, we've got over 100k more than that.
Who was reported as saying thy'd rather let the bodies pile up in the streets than introduce another lockdown? The fact that that's out there and you think 'yeah, I believe he could've said that." Wouldn't have believed it of Starmer, or Corbyn, or Davey, or Sturgeon. Even Theresa fucking May I'd think it was bullshit. But him. Yep.

As for the last two sentences it just totally destroys any credibility anything you said in that at all had. Tell me on what metrics we're judged the best in the world? Economic? Physical and mental health? Education? Social care? Environment? Homelessness? Poverty? Job satisfaction and happiness? Equality, whether it be racial, sexual, gender or economic? Nope. And we're getting worse, not better, in far too many of them.

Or is it just jingoistic nationalistic nonsense?

And don't bother with the 'you hate the country' bollocks. I'm proud to be British but that doesn't mean I'll walk through the rose garden admiring the blooms and not admit there's a very strong smell of shit around.

Fucking hell.

What's the point. You can't be that thick so you're obviously on the windup.

You clearly find old people disgusting - other people have observed this with me

Seriously you may need some professional help

What the actual fuck 😂

Again, I find old racist people disgusting, or rather their views. As I find young racist people disgusting.

If I say all murderers that have brown hair are horrible people do you think that means I think that murderers with blond hair are good people?

60,000 posts. Only one of us needs help and it's not me.

Looked outside mate over the last 2 weeks ...part of your answer there

You've seen Britain when the sun's out haven't you , everybody is as happy as a pig in shit

But surely if Britain is SO good the benefits of living here overall would outweigh a bit of sun? Fact it doesn't I think says a lot about how great we truly are. You don't move out of the perfect house, nice garden in a great neighbourhood with perfect neighbours, spot-on local amenities, bins collected on time, streets cleaned regularly, low crime just cos someone parks outside your house.

It's not a bit of sun is it , its several months barely uninterrupted sun .

Britain's beaches and resorts on the whole very much represent our climate, mostly dull

Also , places in Spain etc near the coast tend to be alot more quiet and relaxing compared to Britain.

It's idilic for retirement

Many Brits like Cornwall and Devon.

Besides that there ain't alot

So what. If this is the greatest country on earth why would you choose to leave it and go someone much worse just for the weather?

I think you're taking it a bit too seriously.. it's just words

Is it quite literally the greatest nation on earth , probably not...but it's our home and we love it , that's what people mean usually

As somebody who worked abroad on several occasions , i always appreciated coming home

This is the kind of person I was talking about yesterday.

Apparently thinking this man is an idiot means I find all old people disgusting according to Grendel.

Force majeure. FFS.

Steve’s favourite radio phone in presenter but the point is valid.

Let’s not forget that the government won a majority with this “oven ready deal”, then denied parliament the time to scrutinise it, then threatened to break the law “in a very specific way”, box ticked by the attorney general, then voted it through parliament with their sizeable majority and a fanfare. At some point the penny has to drop that this lot haven’t got a clue as to what they’re negotiating and signing.
