Good player, would he come to us? Not sure personally. He's played 29 games for Bournemouth this year admittedly most as a sub. If he's loaned out I'd imagine he'd have quite a few suitors at this level as he did well in his stint at Swansea on loan.
Possibly but he’s still quite raw, only scored a handful of goals in this league, a loan to a mid table championship team (hopefully) where he would probably be a starter could suit us and bournmouth.

We still doing suggestions? Ayoub Assal at Wimbledon looks to be a very good young player.

Like the look of him, still really early days of course but he might just have enough to eventually step up.
Very early days, coming on quickly though isn't he. Might be worth getting in there early before his value goes through the roof.

I know nothing about this chap but it's what I want to hear rather than the likes of Jordan Rhodes. We need young and hungry. Not the sort of player that dragged us down to league two.
I've always tried to take an interest in all the leagues. I watch less football than I did by far but still read up a lot and he's one I've read very good things about. Appreciate the message of support.

Bristol fans think its between Simpson, Weimann,Lansbury and Walsh as the players that stay

Quite a funny situation with Walsh really, I remember it felt like we couldn't even ask him if he wanted to sign for us last summer as he was going back to Bristol City and couldn't possibly be interested. Fast forward 12 months and he's not started a game since March 2020, is out of contract and his team finished below Cov in the league.

Is Walsh injured again? He started against Rotherham on 20 March, got booked, and hasn't been even on the bench since.

If he's fit - it's looking likely he'll be available.

EDIT: I've done some searching. Looks like he has a hamstring injury now... so he's played circa 90 minutes of football all season and isn't fit now.

Have been complaints about the treatment by the medical staff at BC. He's had a nightmare of a year but sounds like his injuries could've been better managed.

Which isn't very fast in his current condition...
Would you take him or is he too much of a sick note for you? I'd be very tempted to risk it. Really was an excellent player for us, and still young of course.

Anyone can get injured. It would depend on our physical assessment of him... for me.

I know, he was out pretty much all season though which is the only niggling worry for me. Assume he'd command a decent wage so having him sat in hospital with Jodi Jones is something we could do without.

Difficult to say but I certainly wouldn't write him off on the basis of this season. The types of injuries he's had (Thigh/Hamstring) are very common & not unduly concerning. As we've talked about previously there's been real issues with injuries at Bristol City & they perhaps didn't do right by the player in helping him return/keep fit.
Also it's been an unusual season for everyone due to its condensed nature & we've seen lots of repeat injuries too (Godden, Dabo, Dacosta etc.) I trust the medical team would be very thorough anyway.

In terms of ability/investment yes, no brainer, but we already kinda replaced him with Hamer so could depend if anything happens there or if we can carry the extra wage for both options which would be great.
