just about to watch Forest Green v Newport and it reminded me when we played away at Newport in L2 Burge pulled off at least one incredible save and possibly 2, was in front of the away end.

When we played them at home they probably had 20 fans there. For that reason come on Newport

Brilliant so far this, slashing it down 2 nil down and back to 2-2 within 8 minutes. Great stuff

FGR are my local team, people rag on them for the small following but Nailsworth is tiny. The stadium is a bitch for parking so it's hard to build a fan base in the breif period they have risen through the leagues. When they move closer to Stroud there is a lot of potential to grow as Gloucestershire lacks a decent team.

Can stress how far they have come in recent years. They were a proper dog and duck outfit during my youth. Would love a visionary like Dale Vince as owner. Despite what people say they food is great too

Yep-great save to keep us in the game at that point. Biamou then popping up with one of them important goals he scored now and again.

Cheltenham just won L2 and nearly beat Man City in the FA cup leading 1-0 until about 80 mins. Gloucestershire have two half decent teams but Cheltenham with a population of 120,000 and growing probably is the bigger club atm.

Cheltenham have done well this season for sure but definitely north cotswolds. Parking and one way system in Cheltenham is also a bitch for parking.

Now the Tory nimbies have finally cleared the new FGR stadium just off of J13 of the M4 I recon they have huge potential
