Anyone recall how we STARTED Euro 96? Just saying.

or Italia ‘90
Sneaking past Tunisia in 2018 wasn’t the greatest either.

that was total garbage but it was Scotland in their cup final and biggest game in years

none of them were good, Foden the pick.

but to single out Sterling in particular is weird

Not really.

There were doubts about him being selected and he has been very poor tonight. There are no doubts Kane is our talisman.

Every time Sterling plays poor there are a contigent of fans that will just blindly defend him no matter what. That's what is weird.

How he stayed on when Foden went off, and then Kane is just baffling.

Up in Scotland, the natives seem to be happy with the result. Can't blame them, you could hear a pin drop up here throughout the game.

Why didn't he call Bamford up? Rashford flatters to deceive

What il say is this , none of our forwards can flourish ..

The midfielders don't come to receive into space because they are both pretending to be makeshift centre halves , no doubt under managerial instructions , so all of our play was out wide , kane totally isolated and fed nothing of note .. foden playing on the opposite side he plays for man city .
Bellingham really should be occupying one of those spots next to either rice or Phillips as a link between midfield and forwards.

It's so amateur by Southgate, he's never been good enough to manage us .

what do you mean Kane is our talisman? He’s been absolutely shocking in both matches

Sterling was very bad, they all were- but Kane was a total passenger in both matches

We’re about an hour away from Nigel Farage or Laurence Fox blaming Marxism for infiltrating the England team and distracting them from the football.

Sterling was awful, only out-awfuled by Kane of all people

I can't judge kane properly as he's literally not being used at all .

We may aswell play with 10 men as a striker is not needed right now

Achieves nothing at Middlesbrough then gets gifted the post mostly because nobody else wanted it, this is the result. A potential golden generation of attacking players getting stifled by this man

That was shite. Do we really need to play 2 holding players against the 3rd lowest rank team in the competition?

James offered nothing
Rice only passes sideways
Phillips was poor
Mount was anonymous
Sterling was involved but kept fucking up
Kane looks like he's carrying an injury Nd nowhere near the pace of the game

Southgate takes off our best player in Foden, and uses just 2 subs. He's got Sancho on the bench, and Bellingham.

Totally agree with this.

Exactly then we would have a player either side running at and through Scotland's defence

What could he possibly be telling our midfielders?! I’m so wound up thinking about it.

Not sure what you are getting wound up about. The consensus is that Kane has been shite. It doesn't change the fact that he is our best way of getting goals usually.

A lot of overreacting, we were average and Scotland played the game of their life. Think Southgate has a lot to think about to be honest. If we top the group, jobs still a goodun. Improvement needed against Czech, for sure.

They were bang average and were put under zero pressure for effectively the entire game. Belgium would've scored 6

Kane needs to be dropped, it’s as simple as that- can’t afford passengers

It makes no difference the problem in the team is elsewhere.

We've set up so negatively these lads who apparently have so much talent looked confused about what their roles were, looked like they'd never played with eachother ... this is all on the manager no doubt about that
