Two points

One. It’s her husband I feel most sorry for. He must be thinking how awful am I that my wife considers MHancock a better option. Some deep personal reflection going on there.

Two. How can Boris sack him with his track record. All that will happen is this will get played down and swept under the carpet because we have a PM who can’t take the moral high ground on anyone.

Yeah. I can't see Johnson doing anything over this given his own track record. It'd bring too many revelations, calls about hypocrisy and how he should go himself. Given how many other perfectly legitimate reasons he's had to get rid of the idiot he's not going to choose this hill to die on.

Anyone suggesting he does so is basically just looking for a reason to get Johnson out. So probably Gove then.

No mention at all on the BBC about Hancock from what I can see

Surely not the leftie woke BBC ignoring yet more Tory sleaze and corruption?! People might think they aren't actually woke lefties or that their political editor isn't obviously a Tory supporter.

Is anyone surprised. He's spent his entire time in office fucking everyone and everything.

They’ve had it since May 6th. They must have decided that now is the time to force him out. The guy must have been a nervous wreck waiting for the day they released that footage- how can he not have known when he clearly has CCTV cameras in his office?

You make a good point though- millions of people have affairs every year, not downplaying what he’s done to his wife but is this really the top of his list of cock-ups?

There is no way Boris can credibly sack him with his track record with women… surely?

Think this has been done to heap pressure on Johnson, I know which pair my moneys on.

Resignation maybe but Johnson can't sack him for this with his track record.
It just proves how shit Johnson is, how hard can it be to counter act this by getting a photo of Gove hoovering up a line of chisel?

Resignation would lead to some awkward questions for Johnson wouldn't it? If Hancock resigns for having an affair but the PMs affair is just brushed off as no big deal.

Hancock had an affair with an aide he hired with public money. He also had a financial affair with mates of Cummings, who he hired with public money and without any scrutiny, totally outside of all government procurement polices. He's a disgrace, and should go.

Hold on. You’re saying that MHancock, that’s MHancock the weaselled faced horrible c**t, has actually managed to find 3 women willing to go to bed with him?

Resignation for "personal" reasons could be a possibility. The press aren't going to let this go and they will keep badgering him and his family.

Surprised it was the Sun though but I guess Murdoch was always likely to be in the Gove/Cummings camp

Not really. Hancock was extremely damning of Ferguson when he had an affair. Johnson has never really hidden infidelity - Hancock has with pictures of his children tried the family image thing, it’s the pretence that brings you down

Is it wrong that I kinda like Hancock? He’s clearly shit but seems just incompetent rather than downright nasty like a lot of the other cabinet members. I mean he should go, but so should almost all of them.

I'd pay at least a tenner to see him as a nightclub special guest in a couple of years.

Johnson had an affair with Arcuri who he gave taxpayer money to and took her on a trade relations junket of some sort at tax payer expense.
