I saw that at the time but I don't think it was entirely accurate from what I heardCoventry City place players on flexible furlough scheme
The Sky Blues, like all football clubs, have been starved of vital income during the pandemicwww.google.co.uk
Better let this guy know he's backed the wrong horse this morningfrom the telegraph..."Goalkeepers linked so far include Brighton’s Christian Walton and Wolves’ Matija Sarkic, although CoventryLive understands that, contrary to reports, the latter is not on the club’s radar."
bit weird. wasn't it the tele that initially linked us to sarkic??

That’s correct but it is also correct that a number of nearby clubs have not closed down due to the amount of time lost due to covidNo it’s the same 6 weeks off every year. They’ll all start coming back in the next week
Everyone needs a break at some point. The cat1 clubs work slightly different to the cat 2 and may have had some groups in, but then I know another has kept theirs out for an extra week. That’s correct but it is also correct that a number of nearby clubs have not closed down due to the amount of time lost due to covid
@Saddlebrains when are Jack Colback and Scott Twine being announced mate?
Found a pen down the back of the sofa?
Have you read this thread?Am I the only one starting to worry about lack of business?
“There’s a probably a mixture of things going on. People are unaware of the circumstances around the finances of football, so I think people are holding out for more money to see if things change. But they won’t.
“So that’s one of the things that’s happening. Also, some of the players that we want won’t be available for a little while longer.
“We’re going to be looking at a couple of loan signings so we have got to wait for that.”
If he thinks that some on here are going to wait to Mid July....Robins has done an interview and it doesn’t sound too hopeful :

Ultimately I have wanted to bring in probably eight, maybe nine players but I might only get five.
“There becomes a balance in terms of which ones you do and that’s where we’re at. I can’t be more honest than that.
“We just have to wait and see how they fall, but we’re working.

Prioritising the attacking positions and the left flank.
Robins hardly sounds happy with how it’s going though and the belief some have that we’ve got a bunch lined up and ready to be announced sounds wide of the mark.
We dont need too many more than 5 anyway do we ?
Think about it .
Nah Gk, CB, Left Wingback, CM and ST be happy with that if they are of good quality

Well Robins said he would've liked 8-9 so we obvious do?
I'd argue at a minimum we'd need 6 incomings.
Very concerning. Got to be favourites to go down now.
