Depends how you want to take it. The article also says 'remains confident that he should have most of his targets in place by the middle of July' and 'we are in a decent position, in fairness, in terms of what we have done and over the next few days things will start to come to fruition'.Robins has done an interview and it doesn’t sound too hopeful
the belief some have that we’ve got a bunch lined up and ready to be announced sounds wide of the mark.
the manager insists the club are in a “decent position” in terms of deals already agreed – some of whom he hopes will be announced this week.
6 definitely falls into the "not too many more than 5 " category
Where are Hull?
Also depends what type of signings are coming in. 3-4 genuine first teams and a couple of strong backups is better than 1 decent player and a 7 Kasta type signings. As I said, 6 would be a bare minimum. I personally wouldn't be particularly happy with 5/6 but we can only do what's within our means.
The way the Telegraph have reported it makes it seem quite negative and often with MR, his written quotes seem more down beat than when you hear him actually say things.
The focus will be on comments such as 'it's been frustrating etc but he does also say we are in a 'decent position for things to come to fruition in next few days' so it's about how you want to interpret it.
Robins said our January business was done and we signed someone hours later. He says he might only get 5. That could be just Perm and we may well get more than that.
We've got to wait and see.
Robins hardly sounds happy with how it’s going though and the belief some have that we’ve got a bunch lined up and ready to be announced sounds wide of the mark.

Even though he literally said that?

Get the chequebook outVery concerning. Got to be favourites to go down now.
It would be a bit worrying if Sheaf and Dinanga were part of the five, although I think Sheaf will be decent this coming season
Got to love people reading things that they want to as they need to have a good old bed wetting
Nothing major from that interview at all that any sane person didn't already realise
Just signed a new 2 year deal with themI'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but it seems Nathan Baker is in negotiations for a new contract with Bristol City now.
91 pages and not a drop of ink used yet ffs. Get a feckin grip lads.
I don’t believe you, @PUSB-We_are_going_up told me he’s coming hereNathan Baker resigned with Bristol
I reckon we'd have to pay someone to take KastaRobins needs to pull his finger out, by this point I'd sold Jobello and Kasteneer for a combined 2.5 mil and was deep in negotiations to bring back Adam Armstrong..
Seriously tho I swear some of the more panicked types on here base their expectations on what they did on FM and FIFA
I reckon we'd have to pay someone to take Kasta
And continue to pay his wages
You think there is a chance Walton might be one of the keepers we are might sign @better days ? Or did we get priced out?I reckon we'd have to pay someone to take Kasta
And continue to pay his wages
