The Italian staying down in hope of a VAR penalty review, then Chiesa scores so he gets up!

Telling you ..these are a different Italy to what we all know

Not only good at the back , but move the ball so quick and close down so fast .

I like watching them

Maybe this Italy team will make everybody take notice that you don't have to play fucking boring football to do well at international tournaments.

Feel England would find it harder to play Italy than Belgium

Thing is even if Italy lose tonight , they have a bright future , they've used 2 teams in this tournament and looked good with both

Italy looking very good. You'd still expect De Bruyne / Lukaku to conjure p one goal. Might not be enough though!

It's not just about Italy's passing. They are a very spatially aware team. They use the gaps between the opponents so well. They instantly know where to pass and where to collect the ball.

Swap him with the guy who always walks up Trinity St asking everyone for 20p for the bus.

Reminds me of the time I worked in the City centre. This bloke stopped me and said he was a coach driver and his coach had broken down and needed some money to get a spare part. Got really arsey when I offered to let him use a phone in my office to ring his coach firm to sort out the arrangements./payment, The moral of the story is 'never pretend to be a coach driver when you've had so much to drink you can't construct a sentence' 🤣

Italy also play completely different to England full stop.

You’re half right

They play the “English style” that we think we can play but never do.

They’re direct but not long, fast, tenacious and press all the time- they play a premier league style almost

They play the style that I'm always moaning about us not playing
