At the end of the day nobody can question his ability, if Robins and Viveash thinks it's worth the risk, then I'm all for it.

Wigan, Wolves, Peterborough all did and showed him the door
Everyone he played with said he was easily the best player they've played with. If Robins can tap into what we had before, hes one hell of a player.Wigan, Wolves, Peterborough all did and showed him the door

Also we thought this about JCH, showed him the door, now look at him, players play differently at certain clubs.Wigan, Wolves, Peterborough all did and showed him the door

I think the big difference this time is that MR won’t be looking to build a team around him…as he may have done last time. Would be a great impact sub, and if he offers more all the better.
If it doesn’t work out Bright can have another ‘contract terminated by mutual consent’ to add to his CV.
In fairness, it might not be they questioned his ability, more they questioned if the ability was worth the off-field antics. Just because someone doesn't sign someone/releases someone, doesn't necessarily mean they don't rate their ability. Ferguson always said that Ravel Morrison was the most gifted young player he'd ever seen, so he clearly rated his ability, but his off-field antics and the crowd he hung out with meant he didn't see him as worth pursuing, and from his career to date, he was right. If Robins takes the risk, let's hope Bright proves us all wrong.Wigan, Wolves, Peterborough all did and showed him the door
You think the penny might drop as he gets a bit older G? I wouldn't be against it if he was relatively cheap, we do need a squad after all and perhaps shown enough to be worth a risk? More so than some dodgy foreign imports mentioned above for sure.Yes he was erratic and constantly out of position. The one player he linked very well with is gone.

Alright, let be pedantic, not everyone, but from the interviews of a couple of players. Theres no way from watching him (if you do actually watch games mind, still debatable) that you don't think there is a good player in there.Every player said that? Even Hiwula who played for 3 years at Man City? Blimey?
I suppose this is set up perfectly for a Biamou obsession replacement for you.Wigan, Wolves, Peterborough all did and showed him the door
Just as a point of order. A fair few have stated that Bright "flopped" in Greece and India.
@Russell Slade@better days what have you heard then mate?
Others said he was coming but I doubted it@better days what have you heard then mate?
Think about itReally fail to understand Robins' logic behind this if it's true.
