Il be honest , I don't know how I'd set up against Italy , another pundit alluded to that too saying he wasn't sure how we should set up .
Lightweights, big man at night, big man in the morning.
Do they even have them in the Euros? Not even taking the piss, genuinely no idea.Is the 3rd /4th playoff on Saturday, haven't looked because we aren't in it
You wouldn't believe the sight's and states of some of the blokes I've worked alongside in the exhibition game .Can't do it, I'm useless on a hangover, plus a 12 hour shift is a killer anyway.

I’d agree with anyone else apart from Italy.. apart from Germany maybe
I think I saw somewhere on Opta that Italy have a 69% chance of winning- don’t know how they work it out but I think it’s based on all the stats from matches so far
Haha the memories of last night will get you through tonight mate.I had a spreadsheet of all potential fixtures and booked everything I needed off accordingly. But somehow have ended up in the office for a nightshift tonight absolutely hanging out of my arse.
The lengths that the forum goes to find new angles to argue over is amazing.Sorry I did briefly forget how important it is that we know who all players/managers/fans vote for so we know who to love/hate.

And England’s extra time win was a penalty against 10 menThe stattos at Goldman Sachs reckon we have a 58% chance of winning and are predicting England to win in extra time. They predicted 2-1 v Denmark and the same for Sunday.
I have had a few disagreements with mates on this, but Italy haven’t looked that good in the knockout stages. Their impressive win against Belgium was flanked by an unimpressive extra time win against Austria and they were second best against Spain. If I’m harsh, I think their group stage was harder on paper than in reality and that’s padded their stats. It’s going to be a tough game against them!
Are they beatable? Absolutely.
What's it like over there mate? Euros mad? Are they confident of beating us?And England’s extra time win was a penalty against 10 men
It was a tap in .And England’s extra time win was a penalty against 10 men

Fuck off with the politics. One thread please.
It was a tap in .
It is indeed, England will be major favourites.I do think Italy are the slightly better team but we are at home, don't forget that. It's a massive advantage.

I’d argue that the only reason they had 10 men was that they were under so much pressure that they had to use up all their subs. So we basically forced them to play with 10
I predicted Italy would be dark horses and then an England V Italy final despite Italy only winning in Rome.Italy England is the final i thought it would be after the stars aligned with the route .(thought we'd lose in the last 16 before that )
I think we can beat them , but we have to get it right .
England 2 - 1 Italy AET
Kane x 2 and tournament top scorer
And England’s extra time win was a penalty against 10 men
We could caveat that, but anyone watching the game would have felt we had the beating of Denmark from around the 70th minute. They defended well, but we passed on 2-3 really good attacking opportunities when we were 2-1 up.
It’s an academic point to make, but I believe we would have scored anyway had Sterling’s penalty not been given.
The game was a complete reversal from 2018, we looked quite fresh even in extra time.
It was actually before that, as it was the 63rd minute when the Danes forced the 4-5 min break in play by having their chap sit on the floor whilst they sorted out their subs, and then farted around some more, had a drinks break and provide new team instructions. The tactic worked in putting us out of out stride for a while.
I’m currently in Lampedusa at the moment so a bit cut off my from it. My Italian friends have had little expectations though, so they’re playing without the usual pressure that comes with tournaments here. The failure to qualify in 2018 was like a political scandal in the UK.What's it like over there mate? Euros mad? Are they confident of beating us?

My neighbour has set up a giant screen in his garden for Sunday though with 100 beers for the occasion.

I think if we actually managed to win on Sunday and get the hoodoo off our backs we could end up going deep pretty regularly. It's getting that first trophy and winning feeling, monkey off your back etc.
It would be good to be viewed by other big teams as one of them instead of just putting ourselves there.
